Dave Fortman produces new Mudvayne (August 18, 2004)
After 2 million CDs/DVDs sold worldwide, Mudvayne hunkered down for 7 months and wrote and recorded their third studio album for Epic Records at The Plant in Sausalito, California. The album was produced by Dave Fortman (Superjoint Ritual, Evanescence). We've been extremely fortunate to work with some amazing producers, says Chad Gray, Mudvayne’s lead singer. Garth Richardson captured the band's raw energy on the first record and David Bottrill gave our music a three-dimensional quality on the second record. For this record, we asked Dave Fortman to produce because we wanted someone who can bring both of those elements together into a sound that's brutal and beautiful. Stay tuned for album title, release date and touring news. From: Mudvayne.com
