OST Dbl vinyl. The Cure was a complete stranger in here, very few people knew
them, only the underground scene, nothing from the official discography was
released yet.

promo LP album, specially made for clients, suppliers, close friends and releatives;
one record had latin and mexican artists, the other contained interantional
artists, both managed by Polygram.

A 12" Polygram promo sampler, translated: Los 4 Fantasticos (The Fantastic 4)
was released, containing 3 artists plus the Cureīs Pictures of you extended
remix, this 12" is very rare and also extremely scarce. It has a complete red
p/s with the names of the artists in blue. Another rarity!!! sold on auction
January 2001 for $175 USD !

This was the year of The Cureīs long awaited first visit to Mexico, concert
was held at the Estadio Universitario de Monterrey June 16th 1992, Mexico City was not scheduled beacuse of the "Robert Smith fear to fly" issue. After all these years, this was not true, MTY was the closest city to the US border to follow the schedule of the Wish tour,
Concert was completely broadcasted 2 weeks later by
a local Radio Station in Monterrey "Energy 99". Then weeks later In Mexico City,
an edited version was also broadcasted by the station "Alfa 91.3".
Concert was videotaped by some concertgoers, and security
people who were students from the University, but hell knows where is it today,
I have been seraching it since then.

Given only to a few record shops to promote Bloodflowers, this banners is a very
desired collecting item, one big, other smaller, both hard to find.
BLOODFLOWERS PRESS KIT:
Universal gave to the press only 3 paper sheets with the history of The Cure
along with a color transparency, this so called "kit" is extremley
rare to find.
No promo CDīs for bloodflowers were released in Mexico, neither in V/A compilations.

budget price CDīs; they have a distinctive yellow disc tray. This was made to
promote anti-piracy during the Christmas time here in Mexico 2000-2001 they were

Universal released a promo card that came with V/A CD, due to Valentine´s
day, this card/CD bundle was given away at record store chain here in Mexico,
and was given away when you bought a love, ballad or romantic theme related
CD from Universal.
