I received the copy of 'My Girlfriend's Boyfriend' through Amazon.Com. This, and other, online stores appear the best way of getting it here in Australia, though one place I have tried ordering it from was 'Red Eye Records' in Sydney. They specialise in imports and currently carry 'Moonchild' for A$49.95, and an import version of Deborah's 'Greatest Hits' for A$39.95. If you want more information on where 'Red Eye Records' are located, email me.

There has been no success in ordering the Japan released 'My Girlfriend's Boyfriend' CD Single. In fact, on following this up, I was told that HMV was not able to do this kind of order. I have placed an order through Amazon.Com instead and the CD is on it's way.

This week's New Weekly magazine here in Australia has a short piece on the recent Mike Faulkner incident in New York. They spell his name as 'Folkner' and give approximately 4 paragraphs to the news. A picture of Deb comes with the story.
Further to this incident, if you want ALL (or most) of the articles available on the incident turn your browser to here - the NrgUp News page about it all.

I visited HMV Pitt St store in Sydney today. Previously I had made mention of the EY CD imports. Along with them at one stage were imports of Deb's Greatest Hits album and 'TWYH'. Both are gone, and I have the OW single. I am trying to import from Japan the 'Naturally/My Girlfriend's Boyfriend' single, so I'll keep you posted on the success of that. The catalogue #s for the single are either Colum#56483 or MSI/Sony#80847.
On the computer @ HMV, they listed SYM and LM as imports so I'm assuming they are still available, so if you want them, you know how to get them.

If you're a Debfan who keeps up with the current goings on, then this is old news, but for the rest of you, Deb has allegedly (I say allegedly because it hasn't been proven in a court of law - therefore legally the accused is innocent, but that's another story...) been stalked by Michael Faulkner, a member of D.G.I.F. and the on-line community. He is up on aggrevated harrassment charges. For more news on this head to either www.NrgUp.Com/news/ or read ALL about it at the Anything Is Possible email list.

For all you Australian Deb fans, her OW single is available right here in Oz. Spotted in HMV, Pitt St. store in Sydney was an imported copy of the 'Only Words' single, along with imports of the 'Electric Youth CD album. Expect to pay around A$13 for the single and approximately A$26 for the albums.

If anyone else spots stuff like this in Australia, let me know, so we can all find and share.
