I got there about 6:45ish. I guess we missed the protesters cause I didn't see any. I only saw some old guy wearing a shirt that said "Life Is Short, Pray Hard" and everyone was laughing at him. I was wearing my shock logo flag shirt, black jeans and my docs. I had no makeup on cause I knew it would only get sweated off. My hair is blue and was in 3 pony tails on the top and the rest hanging down in the back (which was bad, but I'll tell you more about that later). We stood near the middle of the line near the street where the tour buses were. While freezing in line, I decided to run up to the front of the line real quick to buy my shirt. I got the "Rock Is Dead" shirt. As we made our way in, news cameras took our picture :-) I was sooo glad to finally get in, and out of the cold!! We had gen. admission floor, so we went straight to the stage, no nonsence!! We were directly behind the ppl up against the barricade on the left side of the stage.

12 Rounds was ok but the slowness of their music really turned me off. The lead singer (a female) was wearing this purplish-black shimmery body suit under a black and white crotched dress thingy. And red undies over the bodysuit. The bassist kept looking right at me! I could see his eyes clearly :-)

Ok, onto the main attraction: As soon as 12 rounds was over, Pink Floyd's The Wall played and the crowd ethusiastically sang along, including me :-) I thought that was nice to hear :-) We kept asking the security guard to give us backstage passes...lol...he told us he couldn't. He did however tell us that Manson would hit the stage @ 9:15 and that he did. I got soooo excited when I saw his boots behind the curtain. By this time the crowd was going absolutely nuts! The band started up and the lights started flashing and all of a sudden the curtain fell. He was wearing this blue fluffy arch thing around his head, almost like a big omega sign and a blue crotchless body suit w/ sequined triangles and a g-string. Twiggy was wearing this purple shimmery( NOT SEQUINED) dress. I couldn't see John5, Pogo, or Ginger clearly from where I was standing but Twiggy was RIGHT in front of us!!Gingers drums were surrounded at the bottom by these tv screens that showed only static. From what I gather, the backup singers were wearing dresses or something when they first came out then they later stripped down to leopard print bikinis. Manson took off the head covering and broke out in the first song RG. The next song was GBWW, then C&S. He didn't speak inbetween songs. Then he made a costume change. He came out in this red shimmery (NOT SEQUINED) half shirt thing with one sleeve, a g-string to match, and thigh high panty hose w/ garters. After Posthuman, he went backstage and put on his stilts, helmet and crutches and went into Mehanical Animals. After that was Mister Superstar. Then he changed into a black jacket and hat. He sang Speed of Pain as snow fell a la Apple of Sodom from the ACS tour :-) At this point the sound was cutting out bad...it had been all night. But nearly the entire time it was out for SOP! It sucked!! Afterwards he sang RID. Then a big omega sign came down. The same as on the main page of the official site. One eye red, the other blue and a black light made it look purple. Then he sang Dope Show where he changed the lyrics from California, to Houston, Tx, and cops to pigs :-) Then they started blowing out this gold-foil confetti from machines on both sides of the stage and went onto Lunchbox. Afterward he finally spoke to us. He said something like he had a revalation the night before and god spoke to him. He said God told him jesus makes marijuana, jesus makes cocaine, jesus makes LSD. Then he said Jesus takes drugs, why can't we? And a big lighted sign came down that said DRUGS. But the "U" didn't light up! The sign went back up and didn't come down till nearly the end of the song (I Don't Like the Drugs was played at this time). After the song ended he said something like "How many of you came to see the show? How many came to get fucked?" Then he went into User Friendly. The last full song to be played was RNRN. After that they started the first few notes to Sweet Dreams but the mic went out AGAIN! He was so pissed, he threw down the mic and stomped off stage like a bitch! The lights came on and the crowd became very disgruntled. They stared chanting "Hell no we won't go" and "refund, refund", and some other stuff I can't remember. My facts of the show might be little mixed up but this is partly how I remembered it and partly from what the ppl I was with told me. The whole show the crowd never let up. Even through the sound outages. For the most part I was in the same spot, but by the last 3 songs I was shoved to the right and back a little. I was nearly crushed by the crowd. I hadn't taken into consideration my height (5'2) before going head on into the pit. Alot of taller ppl were all around me and at times made it difficult for me to see. We were so close together my hair was constantly being pressed against my back causing it to be pulled back and down! My neck is killing me and I have bruises on my back, sides, and arms. I tried to break free but was overwhelmed and almost passed out due to the heat and I hadn't drank anything. The only relief I got was when Manson threw his water bottles out onto the crowd. He was playing like he was jerking off and cuming water and then threw them. At one point he doused a security guard and then hit him in the head with the bottle. I was amused :-)

After the show I bought a poster. As we walked out the door, I was handed a flyer for an afterparty being held at a local club Manson has played at w/ NIN before. It's called "NUMBERS". I couldn't go cause I don't have a car and was stuck with the ppl I came with. I wanted to go tho. All, in all, sound outages and everything, I had a good time! It was my first Manson show and I will definitely make plans to attend the next time he comes around :-)

Last tidbit: when I got home, as I was getting undressed, some foil confetti fell from the cuffs of my jeans. I kept it and put it in a plastic baggie w/ my stub :-) Have fun at the upcoming shows...see ya here next time around :-) 1
