In slightly twisted Eastern mythology the pomegranate is said to grow in a garden guarded by giant gnomes…Kings promise the fulfillment of desire if those who are in love with exalted, unattainable persons manage to bring the fruit of pomegranate out of that garden. And thus the Savage Garden stands forever in the shadow of a garden gnome. Or so I have been told. If you expect me to be an authority on Savage Garden or have connections - I don't. I'm just another fan of the band. If you've come all the way to this corner of the net you must already know about the band. If you don't, you can find some information here that might be useful. If you do, you'll find some information here that might be useless. But either way we're not here for a meeting of the minds, its just a bit of fun. Pretend that you've stepped into a wardrobe or jumped down a rabbit hole. There are twists and secret doors that are open to the curious. There are no boundaries, but you can find pathways that lead back into what is known as the natural world. And if you wish to search for pomegranates beware of the gnomes. Note: Savage Garden has parted ways officially on October 5, 2001. Darren Hayes is a solo artist with albums called "Spin" and "The Tension and The Spark". Daniel Jones was producing Aneiki (currently on hiatus) and he is continuing to establish Meridien Musik with more acts from Australia. A greatest hits album is in the works called Truly Madly Completely (featuring 2 new tracks from Darren).

Around May 2003 some inventive journalists put a 'spin' on some of Daniel's comments at the APRA awards and sparked a bit of bittersweet fun with thoughts of a reunion. Now you may proceed. Their greatest hit has been Truly Madly Deeply. The band originated in Australia - Brisbane to be exact. This is a new lay out - it used be called Heart of Darkness...Savage Garden but now that the band has changed - I decided to change the site too.
