Three disc set of the famous Badgeholders show at the Forum. I believe this Balboa release is the best quality CD release of this show so far, apart from the fact that mine has little spots of dead air throughout the first CD. I can't tell if this is just a problem with my CDs though. Does anyone else have this problem? Email me. Otherwise a really fun show with Robert talking a lot to the crowd. Some funny stuff. Also the guest appearance by Keith Moon of The Who. The New York stuff is from Madison Square Garden, and it sounds very nice. "No Quarter" is joined in progress right as Jones' organ solo is about to start. I also love the version of "The Battle of Evermore." |
