Pretty close to the top of my MUST HAVE list. The first CD sounds awesome. Certainly one of the best recordings from '69. The vibe that comes through with "How Many More Times" is unexplainable. Robert sings a hilarious ad-lib when something flies up on the stage near him. The second CD is the very common BBC stuff. It's edited like usual also, but sounds great. Get this one if you can. Also, just the Dallas recording can be found on a disc called "Plays Pure Blues" from the Whoopy Cat label, and a disc called "Don't Mess With Texas" on the Oh Boy label. |
