Archipeligus' Def Leppard Page
http://geocities.datacellar.net/SunsetStrip/Venue/2321/
A well designed page that is aching for some more content. It is frame happy, so if you prefer non-frame sites, look elsewhere. I found the constant Geocities pop-up ads very annoying - ditch them ASAP.
Becky's Def Leppard Spot
http://geocities.datacellar.net/SunsetStrip/8982
Becky definitely lives and breathes Def Leppard. This page has EVERYTHING you could want! The latest Lep news, complete lyrics, tons of .wav files, fan tales, info on fan clubs, chat rooms and much more. Probably the best Def Leppard page on the net today .... BOOKMARK IT!
Def Leppard After Dark
http://www.visionwebs.com/dl_after_dark/index.htm
Another decently designed site with some really cool features. One of my favorites was the Quips and Quotes section ... very entertaining reading! In addition to all the usual fare, there is a buy & sell section and a cool call to arms to inspire radio to play more cuts off Slang.
Def Leppard Atomic Mess
http://www.princeton.edu/~nieder/defleppard/def.html
An attractive site that houses a vast archival collection of articles, transcripts and news pieces about the band. Add to that a ton of other common info like pictures, sound files, FAQ and lots, lots more and you have found an excellent site to start your Leppard surfing adventures.
Def Leppard Brasil
http://geocities.datacellar.net/SunsetStrip/Club/1780/
A cool fan based site by an avid devotee who shares his personal collection. I think this sort of site can be real fun and an excellent way to celebrate your love of a band.
Def Leppard Hysteria
http://www.globaldialog.com/~jaeckyl/defleppard/index.html
A slick-looking site that houses all the same info. You'll find all of the standard fare here ... pics, sound files, FAQ, discography, etc. It needs more unique things like the Tid Bits section to make it really stand out.
Def Leppard Tribute Album
http://members.aol.com/skumbag1/index.htm
A page devoted to a fan based project that is assembling a tribute album to the Leps. Detailed here is the project's status and how to get involved, proposed cover artwork and more. There are also links to sites of the bands that are participating in the tribute. Looks interesting!
Hysteria Page
http://www.a-o.com/j&kreddin/index.htm
This is a page devoted to is a chat channel that is located on the Undernet using an IRC program. It has bios of frequent visitors and support info. If you're into chatting with other Lep fans, this is a solid place to get organized.
Interpretation of Slang
http://geocities.datacellar.net/Wellesley/2552/Slang.html
A novel idea for a site. One fan has taken all of the tracks for the Lep's latest release, Slang, and dissected each track and written her own interpretation of their meanings. Interesting reading.
Joe's Loo
http://members.aol.com/whamm63/index.htm
This site is dedicated exclusively to Joe Elliott (or maybe more accurately, his bathroom). It is a cute idea but a site that needs a lot of work. There are many missing graphics and painful backgrounds. Keep trying.
Johan's Def Leppard Website
http://home1.swipnet.se/~w-18157/leppard/
A decent fan-based site. I particularly like the section on Phil's guitar that let's you click on the various parts for details. Some tablature and an easy to use design make this worth bookmarking.
Leppard Bits
http://www.xmission.com80/-aj/deflep/
A very basic design that houses some unique Def Lep web offerings. Home of the "Leppard Bits" email newsletter as well as creators of Ages of Rock, a calendar-ized history of the band. Worth checking out for these features alone.
Official Def Leppard Site
http://www.polygram.com/polygram/mercury/artists/def_leppard/def_leppard.html
This is Polygram's official Def Leppard site. It is very well designed and very attractive. The site concentrates on Slang, but has lots of interesting band info and history. There is even a cool quicktime movie of Phil Collen talking about the guitars. Check this site out ... often!
Ring of Fire
http://geocities.datacellar.net/SunsetStrip/8982/lepring.html
This is the home of the Def Leppard Webring. Very well organized and policed. Unlike most other webrings, this one has come cool features like the ability for visitors to vote for the Lep site of the month. The indexes on member sites is very interesting and filled with statistics what the web has to offer on this great band.
Shrimp's Def Leppard Site
http://geocities.datacellar.net/SunsetStrip/Towers/6885/
Nothing really special here. The design is simple and the site lacks in content. But, with a little work, this could be crafted into a decent and popular site.
Siddish's Def Leppard Action Website
http://www.qlcomm.com/deflep/
A well designed site. Easy to navigate and definitely designed with bandwidth limitations in mind. Some of the graphics could be souped up, but overall this site is a pleasure to visit. Keep up the good work.
The Rick Savage Website
http://geocities.datacellar.net/SunsetStrip/Studio/7622/
Another specialized Def Lep site, this time on bass man Rick Savage. This site has everything: monthly Sav pinups, tons of pictures, a breakdown on Sav's astrological sign, a love letter section, you name it! Come here for all things Sav!
The Ultimate Def Leppard Website
http://www.senff.demon.nl/leppard.htm
This is a visually stunning site. Very professional looking and home to some really cool stuff. Some of the highlights are the Def Lep FAQ, a very funny section of misheard Lep lyrics and a regular column by Malvin Mortimer, Def Leppard's tour manager. This is one of the best Def Leppard sites on the net, second only to Becky's. Bookmark it!
The Vault
http://members.pgonline.com/~lobster/index.htm
This is one Canadian fan's dissertation on all of the CD singles that Def Leppard released in the U.K. This is a invaluable resource to hardcore collectors. Add in a few great concert stories and you have a cool site. Check it out!
Wasted Time
http://www.angelfire.com/Hysterical/
The design here is very basic which sequently makes it easy to navigate. There is not much here yet, but the page is new and promises more in the future. Needs a little more work.
