Jimi Hendrix was born in Seattle, in the year 1942, and soon became interested in playing the guitar. On a trip to England, he found bass and drum players, and they formed the Jimi Hendrix Experiance. In a short 3 year recording career, Jimi Awed the world with his explosive method of playing the electric guitar. His style has influenced some of the greatest guitarists around, including Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, And the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughn, among others. He died in the year 1970.
