Rain is the most wonderous occasion in nature

Updated August 1rst

Here are some songs that I wrote (except Last Caress) that Angelblood might someday play

NeverWynter

It was sin the marsh where your body was buried
in a crude shallow grave
It was marked by a makeshift cross but I still
bear the markings of a slave

Memories flood my mind of your pale white face, cold lips, and
raven black hair
With a shovel I unearth the chilled soil that had
come to be your lair

The Fog of Time sets in and the Winds of Change
blows strong
I shovel the dirt aside swiftly the past few weeks
'been long

After some toil, I uncovered your beautiful body, you
haven't aged a day
After working up this magick spell, I'd recover the one
who'd gone away

The Winds stirred my cape, I saw in the distance an black
storm 'been riled
I cast the circle and called, "Undefiled, unbeguiled, please
revive this virgin child!"

And out of the Ether beams of light cascaded upon her
wintry head
Her skin renewed some color, my bride to be was no longer
dead

Anxiously I wondered about the secrets and mysteries
kept hidden by death
Her expression so somber and sad, I could only tell she's
live by her shallow breath

"My love," I started, but she put her fingers over my
weak mouth
"You don't love me," She whispered, the heavy Winds picked
up from the south

"No, I'm sure I do love thee!" I clasped her outstretched
hand so gently
"No, you don't, your love belong to another..." She spoke
so tenderly

Before I could say another word, she wrapped her arms
around me
"But if you care so, then please, let me free....
Just let me free..."

In saddened eyes, I agreed to her wish, this was such
a cold day
In sorrow and in Ancient tongue, I had sent her soul
away

Back to the Sommerlands went her soul; the ring of her
affection I had kept
Like a merciless god, the Winds howled; I found it so cruel
that I wept

Shovel in hand, I covered her body once again, always to be
remembered
My sorrow-filled soul would always hold the memory of her
forever...
