Well, as you can see, this page is beginning to fill up, but, ya see, we're a little greedy, and we want more! What we need from you this time is your favourite GBS moments, like, the first time you met the guys, or just some GBS related story that you wanna share with the rest of us GBS worshippers. You can send your moments to Laurel (gbs4@hotmail.com) or ERin (rnfraser@cyberus.ca).
When the boys sings General Taylor, and Séan sings "General Taylor's long dead and gone", Alan gets sooo into it, I love it! It's such a beautiful song and they're all so passionate when they sing it, but that's definitely the moment I wait for at every concert!

I've known the guys for a while now, so there are lots of interesting things to tell! One of the funniest times was probablyl Aug. 22, 1996. The guys were playing a closed function for the Investors Group Convention here in PEI. Alan told myself and a friend (Joey-Lynn)that they were playing, etc at the Rollo Bay gig in July. Joey-Lynn worked in the gift shop in the Prince Edward Hotel (where they were playing), so she found out all the details. I met J-L at the Hotel after going to another friend's b-day party. Alan came out and was talking up a storm, as usual!:) Luckily, as I mentioned, J-L woked at the hotel, and was able to make connections with one of the people in charge, and some of the security so we could go in. They weren't going to let Alan's sister in so we thought our chances were even more slim!! Anyhoo, the most important clearance came from Alan himself. He just came out with the usual "You're coming in right?". "Gonna try" was the response. Sure enough, we get practically through the entire concert, when one of the head people comes over. J-L and I are a little noticeable since everyone in there except us, GBS, Tony Pitcher, and Mark Record (now Danny) are dressed in suits and dresses!! Ack! Anyhoo, this one comes over and asks me "Who do you know here?". To this I respond "All four of 'em". "Oh, you're with the band?" "Yep" I answer quickly. The lady then went on to explain why she had come over. It had something to do with the fact that they like to keep their funtions private and then left (I think it was more the fact there was an open bar). After the concert we all had a Great Big laugh!:)

My great big moment came When GBS played at the Western Fair in London Ontario.
My friend Karen had got tickets for her and a few of our other friends to go see the boys for
her birthday. After the concert we were trying to convince the guys on stage ( security ) to
give us the guys sweaty towels. We had the one guy ALMOST convinced but then there
boss came out and there goes that idea. We were just getting ready to leave ... when Alan
himself came out. All the girls that were there got and autograph and a few lucky ones even
got a hug. This was My great big moment, I'm looking forward to plenty more !

My Great Big Moment was when I saw Great Big Sea at the Guiness Fleadh
on June 20th, '98 in Chicago. I had never heard of them before, but I
stayed to see them anyway, they were great. Problem for me is that all
their CDs except the new one are considered imports.

Hello, I had my Great Big Moment in Peterborough, Ontario, last summer, where I went
with Alan's cousin Jamie and my cousin( who is marrying him soon), to a FREE concert.
Sweet... After the show I got my brand new PLAY CD signed, the only person at the
concert to get one!!!
