MAYHEM and HATE ETERNAL LIVE AT KEY CLUB, JULY 22, 2000 in HOLLYWOOD
Extremely good live Florida death metal band HATE ETERNAL was the first band I
saw that night. They play with a lot of power and clarity. I know they will
become one of the top acts by how good they are. They are led by guitarist
Eric Rutan who plays in Morbid Angel.
MAYHEM started with "Silvester Anfang" a drum march from "Grand Declaration of War".
And they were very powerful live with lots of running and movement on stage.
Some of the other songs they played were "Carnage"."Pagan Fears", "A Time to Die",
"Freezing Moon" which is my favorite, "Necrolust", "Pure Fucking Armagadon"
and others. A topless very lustful blond girl (not Me) wearing black tape on her
brest and black tape upside down cross on her stomach went on stage and was
very friendly to Necrobutcher. (He had a good time afterwards.) During
"Chainsaw Gutsfuck" a guy in the front row pulled out a chainsaw and saluted
the band. Other guys were wearing rope with blood wrapped around their arms.
The audience was was watching the band with great intensity and
extremely focused like they were totally mesmerized. They are one of the best
live bands, so don't miss them.
