Honestly, that's the first thing I thought when I first met him. Smiling, hand extended towards me in greating, all I could think was, 'What a cool guy'. Red hair spiked, facial hair nicely groomed, jewelry in place- he certainly *looked* like a STREETNiX. But kindness and looks aside, I couldn't help but wonder- how will he fill Joel's shoes?

Well, worries aside, my good friends. This guy is fantastic. From the moment I first heard him perform Tic Tic Boom at the local radio station late September, I knew that this guy fit his new role. Voice husky, and strong, he was every bit the singer he needed to be, and then some.

Singing aside, I have to comment on his stage presence. Boys and girls, it's great. Pointing, winking, sticking his tongue out at my friend from the wings, Thom gets the audience involved. For the brief several minutes of the concert, Thom makes fans feel a part of the action. It's so cool.
