Lucinda spent the end of 1999 and the first half of 2000 trying to get a live scene happening in the Upper Blue Mountains. All was going well with regular gigs, growing punters (as in more of them - not that they were getting taller!) until the CD launch (that was to celebrate 9 months of great shows)... That was when the venue cancelled all further bands... Now, with Kelts having taken off, the emphasis is now more on all-ages shows. (Demos can be posted to PO Box 7162, LEURA 2780 for consideration.)
Most of the bands that played at these shows appeared on the Salubrious Melodies cd, which is available
for $10 at gigs ($12 for mail orders and from Stairway to Kevin, Leura; Velvet Fog Records, Katoomba; and Red Back Records, Wollongong; Rabbit Records, Perth; Skinny's Records, Brisbane)... it contains 20 songs - 8 of which have not been previously released! Go to the Merchandise page

The next compilation is also coming together - Salubrious Melodies 2: Exposed - and is set to be even better than the first one!!
Lucinda is now the Youth Co-ordinator at Blue Mountains Community Radio. We received a grant from AMRAP to create a compilation cd... Skankin' - itis now out and features 17 great Australian punk and ska bands.
Tim is on the Prankfest committee and is currently working on Prankfest 3. He has also put on numerous all-ages shows in the Mountains.
