"We plan to have a wide variety of music," Gerald Morris said. "A little rock, a little jazz, blues and country." With that kind of variety, Morris said that he has had no problems finding performers to fill his calendar. "Most of them have heard about us through word-of-mouth and they call me," he said. "There are a lot of starving musicians out there."
Keith Skirvin performs this weekend at Kat's as Crazy Cover Keith, a
human jukebox with a repertoire of more than 600 songs. Skirvin said that
his most requested songs are by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Jimmy Buffet.
Kat's is open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week. Live music starts
at 8:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday. Crazy Cover Keith plays Saturday.
