Aside from that information, my friend was Danny T. Merkel. He was my best friend and my only friend that actually was into Nirvana. I lost him on May, 4, 2002. He hung himself in the basement of his home. Aged, 17 years 2 months and 1 day. We played a show that day and he was supposed to come. When I returned home that night I got the news. Never thought in a million years that he would do something like that. I mean I hung out with the kid almost every single day. I hung out with him only 2 days before and everything was fine. I let him borrow my guitar b/c he was trying out to be in a band as well. And 2 days later, that. Really bugged me. I miss the guy a lot. And he left behind his girlfriend, and at that time his unborn child. How could you possibly do something like that. His girlfriend is only 15. How could he expect a single mother at 15 to raise a child herself. I don't know what he was thinking. His child "Kurt Daniel Smith" is to be born in November of 2002. The only thing that remains of his. I mean, I have some of his stuff. I am very close with the family, and they let me go through his stuff and take what I wanted. That had to be the hardest thing I ever did. But that's all I have left. No guy to call me up and say, Hey man you wanna go smoke. Or him calling me at like 10pm b/c he needed cigarettes. While that was kind of annoying while he was here, I actually miss it. And I never really put up a fuss hanging out with him b/c he was actually a cool person to be around. I don't think I'll ever find anyone like him. If it wasn't for him I would not be dating my girlfriend. He hooked us up. (It'll be our 1 1/2 year anniversary on October, 27, 2002) I mean, all of the things he did, all of the lives he touched, all of the things he had yet to accomplish, all taken away within a few minutes. But Why? That question has yet to be answered.

April 08, 2002 - Today marks the 8th anniversary of when Kurt Cobain's body was found lifeless by electrician Gary Smith. 8 years ago today, the music died. "R.I.P. Kurt!"
April 04, 2002 - I have decided to open this site back up.
Not all the pages are finished as promised. I will get to each page as I get more time.
March 8, 2002 - Miscellaneous Pictures page is completed.
After the Nirvana Pictures are uploaded the rest of the site will go very quickly.
March 07, 2002 - Sorry, but this site is still not finished.
I have just a few more pages to do and more pics to upload.
I have to upload 135 more Nirvana pictures, and 91 Miscellaneous Pictures.
Now I'm pushing for the end of March.
February 20, 2002 - Today marks Kurt Cobain's 35th Birthday.
February 19, 2002 - Site is coming along GREAT!!!
Still pushing for the February 28th date.
January 29, 2002 - Almost all of the pictures on this site are down. Also, when this site does return all of it's pages WILL be finished. This includes all lyrics pages, all tabs pages, and even the Suicide? page. Plus a few more pages that I added in here and there. So hang in there. I will try and have this site takin' care of by the end of February. Hopefully sooner. So keep your eyes pealed on this news page and I'll let you know when this site will be back up and running. Take care.
January 20, 2002 - This site will be going through some major renovations in the near future. So this means that this site might be shut down periodically. Can't wait til it's finished.
