What's your ideal, romantic Christmas?
Mark: I'd love to spend Christmas in New York. I think it may have something to do with Home Alone cos I've wanted to go there for Christmas ever since I saw it.
Kian: Well, if it was a romantic Christmas, I'd probably go away to the mountains - to be in a log cabin, have a big fire, go skiing, and have a nice, big dinner on Christmas Day. Though actually I don't think I'd ever do that on Christmas Day cos it's a time for family and friends. So, ideally, whether it's romantic or not, I'd bring my girlfriend home to my family for Christmas. But she would probably want to be with her family - so it never really works, does it?!
Nicky: Well, I don't think I could ever be romantic on Christmas Eve cos I always spend Christmas Eve with the lads. I doubt I'd give up the tradition for a romantic night. But there's plenty of time in the run-up to Christmas and afterwards for romance and loads of snogs.
Have you ever had a really romantic Christmas with someone you love?
Kian: Unfortunately, I never have. I've never really gone out with somebody at Christmas time. One year I did, but it wasn't that romantic! She spent Christmas Day with her family and I spent it with mine! I wasn't that romantic cos I was only 16. We bought each other presents but that was it.
Mark: I think the only time I've been going out with someone at Christmas was when I was about 16. It was like, 'I'll meet you at the cinema if my parents let me.' Hardly very cool or romantic! The most romantic thing I've ever done at Christmas was have a snog in a park! But I did buy this girl a ring and a chain as her Christmas present, which isn't bad. It was expensive for a 16 year old!
Shane: I've never been in love properly at Christmas. I had a few Christmases when I was younger and I was in puppy love. But I've had a couple of bad Christmases as well. When I was in my early teens I had relationships break up around Christmas. It doesn't seem like much now but it was a big thing to me at the time. We just broke up, it wasn't happening, I probably liked her best friend or something! The usual.
Nicky: I've had romantic Christmas nights when we've snuggled up under a rug in front of an open coal fire. I always spoil Georgina at Christmas. I always have, even before I had money. I used to save up for months and try to buy her everything I could. I love buying presents for people.
Bryan: Last Christmas, with Kerry, was the best Christmas of my life. We were in an old house in Donegal with two friends. It was amazing!
