We still tried the same in another hotel, but without any results! So we returned to Jyrki, and happily our places at the door were still available!
The following two hours we just had to spend sitting there on the street...
I had of course forgotten the sack lunch, so I had to go and buy something to eat while a couple of friends stayed there to take care of our good places.
At some stage other people started coming there as well, even though quite a few of them were fans - some were asking if that was Nicky or Kian... But of course there were "real" fans as well, some of them had even met the lads at the airport...
From 2.30 to 3 the waiting was full pain, we almost started counting seconds... 25 minutes... Only 23 minutes! I guess it was 2.50 when sitting started to feel pressing and everybody stood up, following Hanna's example. The rest of the time we spent looking through the windows into the studio and waiting impatiently when the guys would arrive... Luckily we were given timetables with Westlife pics on them (not that I could use one like that at business school!). Some real no-fans showed up among others, too, they came to peer through the windows and to wonder about the hysteria around... Someone even asked what band we were waiting for!
But at some stage the waiting finally was over! It was about 3.15 when we saw a big car on the other side of the building (there was a window opposite as well). Everybody started to scream when we realised it was Westlife coming! I can't remember who I saw first or so, I just remember screaming for my life!
Westlife had arrived to the studio... We got an evident proof of that when Shane peeked into the studio and waved at us fans behind the window. I don't think it's hard to guess that for a while the window was full of waving hands and the street was full of screaming!
What happened next has totally got out of my mind... I remember someone else from Westlife showing up in the studio, and I have an indefinite recollection of Nicky waving at us at some stage, too... I remember me being surprised of how Bryan was even better-looking in real life than in pictures - somehow I just had not so clearly noticed that at Boyzone's concert in Stockholm!
