Are you ever miffed when people your age don't recognise you?
No, I don't expect everyone in the world to recognise me. But if I wasn't recognised in Ireland... our profile in Ireland is much bigger than anywhere else. I walk into a shop and I will be recognised. And if someone doesn't recognise me, I'm like, ah, what's going on there? Why didn't she recognise me? So be it. Not everyone buys our albums or listen to our music. Not everyone read the magazines, you know. And I'm not famous, the band's famous. But me as a person, an individual - I'm not necessarily a famous person.
What plastic surgery would you have if it was painless and you could keep it secret?
I don't think I'd ever have any. If I had no choice, I'd get proper ears cos I have pointy ears. I don't look at myself and say I'm perfect, but I'm happy with myself and I think it's wrong to change things.
Are you good at chatting up the ladies?
I used to be really good, but I've lost the knack. My and my friends, we call it the G-mac. Like, 'He's lost the G-mac. Put the G-mac back on". Graham, Garreth and me, we use it all the time. I have become a bit shy. I mean, I won't just go up to a person and say, 'Hello, how are you?' That's such a strange thing for me to do. If I meet a girl in a normal situation, I'm a very easy bloke to chat to. But I find it really hard to just go over to a person and talk to them. I think I'm afraid of people selling a story or being with me for the wrong reasons and all that stuff. But if you're in love with someone, you make it work.
