On a scale of one to ten, how sexy are you?
About 45! Only kidding. Seriously, probably about four or five. Sometimes I can look OK and other times I look terrible. I don't really feel sexy, but maybe that's because I'm in a relationship. They say people become complacement in relationships and don't care about the way they look, but in this business your image is so important. If I wasn't in the public eye, I'd probably be big and fat with a beard!
Has your weight ever been a problem?
No, touch wood, but that's probably because I've always been quite sporty. There have been times when I've looked at myself and thought, ooh, I'm looking a big chubby there. My chubbiest stage was probably just before the start of the band. But hey, it was nothing compared with Bryan! Hah! Only kidding. It is tough, though, cos our diet's all over the place and we seem to live off McDonald's and KFC. And I've done so much training in my life I'm sick of it. It's boring. Don't get me wrong, I could run round a football pitch all day, but as for running on a treadmill, you can keep it - I don't see any point.
What are your insecurities?
I don't like being on my own. Sometimes I do, but most of the time I like having people around me. One of my biggest fears is being old and alone. I love company and I love having friends and family round me.
What are your dreams and ambitions?
As a band we want to crack America and win Grammies and stuff. There's also the tour next year: I'm really looking forward to that. On a personal level I'd love to do a solo track or some presenting. I'd love to present the MTV Awards or something like that and I want to play football again in front of a big crowd. Of course, one of my dreams has now come true, my first front cover for TOTP!
