The Great Dane box is possibily the best bootelg release ever. It cointains every avaiable Beatles BBC session, gathering during a research period that took over seven years in the making. EMI's Live at BBC was a gret na important release, but The complete BBC sessions goes very deepr, bringing things EMI didn't have the courage to release, like the famous last Pete Best show in which they play Roy Orbison's Dream Baby or the unreleased A picture of you. Disc two offers a very unique chance to hear Ringo drumming on P.S. I love you, since it's not him on the official version.

Besides the marvelous CD's, the box comes with a marvelous book which details every BBC session with recording dates, date of original airing, history of bootleg BBC releases, wonderful pictures and more. The genreal sound quality is superb too. In addition, a marvelous, remarkable cover showing a 12-string Rickenbaker guitar.

The compelte BBC sessions wasn't made obsolete by EMI's double CD. It is somethign every Beatles fan should get. For those who have problems in getting the box, they can still get it. LQE productions released a CD-rom which cointains EVERYTHING from the boxed set.
