Alternates of Free as a bird |
This wonderful CD brings alternates demos of the original piano-only Free as a bird and Real love, plus other tracks from the "Dakota Tapes". It's lovely to hear John joking on Starting over lyrics and going into several old rock'n'roll standarts. But don't expect magic perfomrnaces: these sessions are as imprptu jams are Get Bsck sessions. The only difference, besides not being a Beatles bootles, is the sense of humour.
