The title says all. As you probably know, the OOPS effect is created by what Brazilians call "gambiarra", or a rudimentar trick based on not very proper technical procedures. In this case, you'll mess with your stereo connections until you get an out of phase signal, which creates an "alternate mix" effect. Here it is: a new "outfake"! Usually this will drop the lead vocal out, but it can also put in evidence many different aspects of a song. That's why it's fun listening to these CDs. Specially if you're not a musician ot don't have a particulary trained ear, you'll be surprised to notice many details for the first time.
