Can't fight lightning Peg Boy |
> Ringo's Stop and smell the roses was not always going to be as we know today. At one point, the album was called Can't fight lightning. This original album contained several differences from the relased versions, and some different tracks which remained unreleased until the CD release of Stop and smell the roses. This Peg Boy release offers the original album, plus bonus tracks.
CONTENTS:
Attention - Private property - Nice way - Wake up - You can't fight lightning - Wrack my brain - Dead giveaway - Brandy - You belong to me - Stop and take the time to smell the roses - Wrack my brain (mix #1) - Attention - Back of boogaloo - Private property - Wake up (take 5) - Dead giveaway - Atop and take the time to smell the roses - Wrack my brain (mix #2) - Attentio - Back of Boogaloo - Wrack my brain (very interesting Canadian mix, with more proeminent tuba)

It don't come easy CD single Midnight Beat 9:47 |
> This Midnight Beat CD is very nice for three reasons: first, it brings three unreleased Ringo performances; second, it's one of the few Rigo boots which bring REAL new stuff; thrid, it's a wonderful shaped CD, molded like Apple's symbol. For me, it has yet a fourth reason which makes it very very special: it was a gift from a very dear internet friend!! Thank you very much, my friend!!
CONTENTS:
It don't come easy - it don't come easy - Goodnight Vienna
"La de da" and more No label 56:37 |
Very nice boot, though it won't add much to who's been collecting Ringo for a while. Those who couldn't get "Vertical man" singles will find all the bonus tracks here. But the real highlight is the original version of "Drift away", which features Steven Tyler instead of Tom Petty.

Live at Bottom Line Billy Bootleg 72:07 |
> Needles to say: this is the best band to play with Ringo!! They're SO great! This is the first show Ringo did with the Roundheads, just days before their VH1 performance. It's a historical moment, for this is the first live performance ever of "Don't pass me by". The bonus tracks include some outstanding and rare Macca-tracks. Fantastic!

Live at Chastain Park Billy Bootleg 72 min. |
> A Ringo show with the All Starr Band from the 1997 tour. It was recorded with amateur equipament from the audience, hence sound quality is not good, though passable. Also, the show is incomplete, and one or two tracks were cut by the guy who taped the show. But listening to a Ringo show is always a great experience. Personally, I like audience tapes, because they keep a certain feeling that professional recordings don't.

One evening in Moscow Non Peg Boy 67 min. / 65 min. |
I love this CD because it was the first I got in a trade with a Russian fellow collector. The show was audience-recorded in August 25thm 1998, right after "Vertical man" was released. Sound quality is only passable, but the performances and repertoire make it worth. The highlights are the inclusion of tracks from "Vertical man', for those who have never hear them played by nobody else than the Round Heads. Very cool boot!

Ognir Rrats No label |
This is perhaps the most interesting Ringo bootleg I have known so far. It includes some once rare b-sides which have been releases as bonus tracks on official CD's, rare b-sides and guest appearances and sountrack for the 1978 TV special Ringo This soundtrack is composed by alternate versions of old classics. Very nice!! Just a dream has only appeared as a 70's b-side and is very rare piece.

Scouse the mouse No label |
In 1977, na anitated musical TV special was made, called Scouse the mouse, cointaining Ringo, as one of the voices. The soundtrack was offically released on na UK-only LP, and then remained forgotten until today. The songs Ringo sings have appeared on other bootlegs, but the LP also had several nice tracks by other artists. This CD is the bootleg release of that offical 1977 LP.

Tapes for Lentz 1 No label 73min |
This is the first of two CD's I got from a very dear and important friend. These two CD's are one of my very favourite items on my entire collection. They bring mostly songs which have been offically released somewhere btu then disappeared, and bootleggers oddly dind't give importance to it. It's an elite Ringo Starr work, bringing many many rare recordings. Some of them unbooted.

Yes it makes sense No label 62:20 |
Very cool selection of Ringo material, most of it officially released somewhere, but either hard to find or hard to get. Some of these songs have appeared on other boots, but they're here in their best sound quality. Very gooc choice for a Ringo CD!
