| George bought this guitar in 1963 and used it for quite a short time. Then he gave it to Fourmost guitarrist George Peckham, and it was auctioned in 1999. Today it's in Cleveland, Ohio, in display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I remember seeing this guitar at the Rickenbacker website, when I was trying to buy my own 12 string model. They said this guitar was discontinued, but they had to reactivate it exclusively to satisfy Beatles fans. |
