Nobody's child

This album was released in 1990, to help taking relief to Romanian children. George apparently took the project very seriously. The album is fantastic. Besides bringing a new Traveling Wilburys' song, it also includes several appearances by George and a fanstic version of his "That kind of woman", by Eric Clapton. The CD also bring Ringo's live performance of "With a little help from my friends".

For the love of Harry

Harry Nilsson was a great musician, songwriter and a personal friend of Ringo and John Lennon. John, Ringo and Harry appeared together on a number of records. The three were great buddies during John's so-called "lost weekend" period. After the events of december, 1980, Harry began na intensive campaing against hand guns, until he unfortunatelly died of a heart attack in 1994. In 1995, several artists got united to make a tribute album, and Ringo contributed with one track, "Lay dawn your arms". The rent was intended for the fight against handguns. It's a nice album, and a noble cause.

Remember (Randy Newman) - Turn on your radio (Marc Cohn) - One (Aimee Mann) - Cocnut (Fred Schneider) - Joy (Joe Ely) - Lay down your arms (Ringo and Stevie Nicks) - Without her (Beckley. Sun City

I don't particulary like this album. Despite Ringo presence is documented, it can't be noticed. But this is not the point: the Cd itself isn't very good. It's for a noble cause, but not my kind of music. It's an item for those who want to complete their collections.

CONTENTS:
Sun city - No more Apartheid - Revolutionary situation - Sun City #2 - Let me see your ID - The struggle continues - Silver & gold - Sun City (Last remix)
