Mike McGear/ Paul McCartney
McGear

In 1974, Paul helped his brother Mike to make this album. 'Helped' is in fact na eufemism. The outstanding McGear is in fact na Wings album without Paul on lead vocals. Nine of the 11 songs are McCartney/ McGear compositions, the other two being a McCartney (What do we really know?) and a Brian Ferry (Sea breezes). Linda, Denny Laine and Jimmy McCullough have their part as supor players and backing vocalists. Ina ddition to write most of the songs, play and sing backing, Paul also produced the record.

Sea breeze - What do we really know? - Norton - Leave it - Have you got problems? - The casket - rainbow Lady - Simply love you - Giving grease a ride - The man who found God on the moon - Dance the do

Animal magnetism

Linda McCartney contributed a track n this charity album. The track is "White coated man", which many people already know from the Oobu Joobu series. The recording is credited to Suzy and the Red Stripes, taking us back to Seaside woman. Linda is doing lead, but who's the band? It's possible that someday this song will give us a surprise. The album itself is pretty cool, and make a very nice listening.

Ringo Starr
For the love of Harry

Harry Nilsson was a great musician, songwriter and a personal friend of Ringo and John Lennon. John, Ringo and Harry appeared together on a number of records. The three were great buddies during John's so-called "lost weekend" period. After the events of december, 1980, Harry began na intensive campaing against hand guns, until he unfortunatelly died of a heart attack in 1994. In 1995, several artists got united to make a tribute album, and Ringo contributed with one track, "Lay dawn your arms". The rent was intended for the fight against handguns. It's a nice album, and a noble cause.

Sun City

.I don't particulary like this album. Despite Ringo presence is documented, it can't be noticed. But this is not the point: the Cd itself isn't very good. It's for a noble cause, but not my kind of music. It's an item for those who want to complete their collections.

CONTENTS:
Sun city - No more Apartheid - Revolutionary situation - Sun City #2 - Let me see your ID - The struggle continues - Silver & gold - Sun City (Last remix)
