Yellow Submarine Songtrack

The great adventure is back: this is the songtrack for the classic animated fil "Yellow Submarine". As everyone knows, the original "Yellow Submarine" album consists of six Beatles songs, plus instrumental cuts by George Martin's orchestra. Now we have for the first time a full Beatles album with 15 songs that appear on the film.

The best part, however, is that all the songs have been digitally remastered, which means they were treated to sound technologies that weren't avaiable in the 60's, but we have today. The resul is a much improved sound quality, a new dimension sound. To those who are habituated to the old versions, listening to this remastered songs is a very revealing expereince.

Also, there's two important upgrades on the Beatles world. First, we finally have a stereo mix for the original "Only a northenr song", which had only been avaiable in mono. Second, "Hey bulldog", one of the best Beatles rock'n'roll tunes, has finally got its due place beneath the spotlights.

To the old fan, getting this new CD and the new restored video edition is a fantastic experience. To new listeners, it's a chance to discover a new wonderful world. We can only hope that this release will be the first of a complete remastered Beatles catalog.
