These are just some interests and links to stuff in no particular

so here we go....
I am a sound engineer, and those of you who think I study vibrations in outer space for NASA are only slightly off.
Actually, I'm the guy who controls the sound systems at concerts. It's a cool job, see a lot of good bands (and even more of rotten ones), use lots of cool electronic stuff with bunches of blinking lights (who knows what they are really for, but they look cute), and of course, listen to loud music every day (I know, I know, so do you, but I get paid for it).
But it is also a lot of hard
work (one of our speakers, the Meyer MSL-5, weighs 500 pounds), and the
hours are absolutly crazy. If you've ever been to a concert, you get out
very late, and I can't start tearing down until all of you are gone. So
one large show can last for 2 or 3 straight days, but it's fun.....hopefully.
