Well, here I am, on my birthday, sick as dog. I believe that it was Plague Boy (Jeff Pearce for the uninformed) who gave me this death cold too...I'm going to kill him next time I see him...
And, I've created a new Pictures section, because my new set has something like 28 pics. So yes, my new pics ARE up!
If I get off my lazy ass and get inspired, I *might* write a review of the show, but I'm not promising anything.

What's that you say? You want me to get off my lazy ass and actually this thing? Right..nah..I will..Well, as you all know, Moist won 3 awards at the MMVA's, I still haven't had time to watch my tape of them, so I don't remember which ones they won....sorry..
Rumor has it (okay, its not rumor, I have a *very* inside source) that before their latest upcoming tour, Moist will be down in Mexico filming the video for Gasoline.

I have put up a chat room from this page and from every other page on my site. There is also a "back to my page" link for those following the Moistring who want to see the rest of my pages.
Muchmusic has been playing the older videos quite a bit lately, I think they come onto the Net and read all our rantings...

Moist has been nominated for a MuchMusic Video Award for Best Band. Go to the MuchMusic website to find out more information.
Also, "Gasoline" is to be the new single from our favorite 5 boys. Thanks to Andrea for that information.
And old news...David Usher can be seen in Sarah McLachlan's newest video, "Building a Mystery".
Moist is an awesome Canadian band who are originally from Vancouver, but recently relocated to Montreal.
Their first single, "Push", was from their then-Independent CD, "Silver". It immediately caught the attention of many people and got heavy rotation on Muchmusic.
The next single was "Silver", from the album of the same name. It also received heavy rotation on Much and did well on the Countdown
Their next song had a message. It was "Believe Me", also from "Silver". At the end of the video, it had numbers for suicide hotlines. This was when Moist really hit something by showing people they cared.
Again from "Silver", "Freaky be Beautiful" was released in the United Kingdom.
October 1996 saw the release of Moist's second record, "Creature."
The first single was another song with a message, "Leave it Alone." The video combatted AIDS and cancer.
Moist's second single from "Creature" was "Resurrection". Initially getting a lot of air play, "Resurrection" made it to #3 on the Countdown and held there for 3 weeks before plummeting.
Moist's next single was "Tangerine". "Tangerine" caught a lot of attention from it's video which resembled Edgar Allan Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" quite strongly. However, the song did poorly on the Countdown, only making it to #18 or so.
Moist has released a re-mix of "Tangerine", along with a video, but I haven't seen or heard it.
"Gasoline" is to be the next Moist single.
