Alisha Rules The World
Album review:
"Alisha Rules The World"

Enter the ironic world of Alisha. A world that will make you draw your curtains, lie back on your bed, and deeply fall into your thoughts. This album, I must say, is quite frankly a brilliant mixture of Indie, Rock, and a touch of orient all the way from India. You have the very positive "Indestructible", the very laid back "Air We Breathe", and the very swirly "I am, I Feel". Karen and Shellie are two sisters who bring you the best atmospheric music straight from Alisha's World! Cheers girls!

Illumina
Album review:
"Illumina"

Be warned, sisters Shellie and Karen are back with another fantastic album! This 15 tracks extraordinary album gets you into all sorts of moods and talkes about all the aspects of life. From the little things that make the relationship in "The Incidentals", to E-mails and virtual reality in "Barbarella". In comparison to their debut, "Alisha Rules The World", this album is more rocky ("Air & Angels", "Dive In") and mature, but less original. With future hits like "Wish I Were You" and "Going Down", this is truly one of the best albums released recently.

Album review:
"Alisha Rules The World"

Alisha's Attic is composed of two sisters from Dagenham, England, Shellie and Karen Poole. Their debut record as Alisha's Attic is a vibrant display of imagery expressed through dreamy, sensual pop music in the vein of Holly Palmer, the Murmurs and of course, the theatrical voice of Kate Bush. Their debut release, Alisha Rules The World, is bound to grab your attention with its beautiful vocal harmonies and melodies. Each sound of the first single "I Am, I Feel," creates an enchanting prettiness, even though the lyrics aren't very optimistic. Both in their mid-20s, the two women take what's been done before and infuse it with their own distinctive personalities.

Dotmusic single review:
Alisha's attic - "The Incidentals"

A late addition to their much-anticipated second album, The Incidentals is full of rich and gorgeous harmonies.
With an inviting melody, which last week helped it on to Radio One’s B-list, this looks on course to perfectly set up the new album, Illumina, due out in October.

Alisha's attic - "Wish I Were You"

The Poole sisters once again demonstrate their ability to write an unassuming, radio-friendly song that reveals its hidden qualities with each listen. Already on Radio One’s As Featured playlist and Radio Two’s C-list, Wish I Were You deserves to repeat the top 15 success of The Incidentals and album Illumina.
