The Ending

The next day the girls woke up at 9:30 and decided they'd better get ready. At 10:00 Nick's mom arrived to see if there was anything she could do to help. Chloe told her yes of course and they all got to work. Stacie was soaking in a scented bath, and Chloe and Mrs. C were getting everything together. They were going to go to the wedding site and in the building there Stacie and Chloe were going to be allowed to get ready.

After Stace got out the three ladies loaded up Chloe's 4Runner and went to pick up the cake. They had it being stored at a friend's house since they had a bigger oven and a bigger fridge. They picked that up carefully loaded it and took it to the reception hall. They took it in, told the people it was beautifully decorated and immediately left again. This time they were going to the beach. They got there at 11:15 and went in to find food waiting for them compliments of a group of Boys. :-)

The whole time they were getting ready, Chloe kept staring at the clock. "Chlo! What are you doing? I'm the one getting married." Stacie laughed.

"I know I guess it's just nervous energy or something." Chloe lied. Mrs. C was very helpful in playing wedding mom. She was helping the girls with getting everything together, setting up the flowers and the candles and taking pictures. At 2:30 the minister arrived to make sure that everything was running smoothly and to keep the groom away from the bride. Shortly after he arrived all the men did.

At 3:00 the music started and everyone went to his or her place. As Chloe was walking down the aisle she couldn't help but become really nervous. As she took her spot, the organist began the wedding march. Stacie appeared with Kevin by her side. She looked so beautiful and the sun began to shine immediately as if on cue. About half way down the aisle, a car suddenly pulled up. Chloe smiled as a man and a woman got out of the car and headed for the tent. Stacie went pale and almost started to cry when she recognized the people as her parents. Chloe walked over to them and greeted them and took Kevin's hand to let Stacie talk to her parents.

"Mom, Dad what are you doing here?" She said hugging her father.

"Well, I was convinced by a certain person that I was being, selfish, rude, and inconsiderate yet again with your choice. And she and your father convinced me that if I didn't come I'd regret it for the rest of my life." Her mother explained. Stacie looked over at Chloe and mouthed 'Thank You'. Then her mother took a seat and she walked the rest of the way down the aisle with her dad.

Well, Nick and Stacie got hitched. And afterwards everyone went to the reception to watch the wonderful couple start their lives together. Their first dance was to 'Angel of Mine' by Monica. And even though they didn't really have it planned Stacie got to dance with her father to 'Butterfly Kisses'.

After dancing around, throwing bouquets, (which by the way, Chloe was handed) throwing garters, and cutting the cake, it was time for the toast. Which since Kevin was the best man, it was his job to do.

"First off, I want to say that I wish Nick and Stacie all the best. They're truly an amazing couple and they deserve a lot of happiness. I wanna say also, that with this journey you've just begun, wonderful things are ahead. Sometimes the road won't be so easy but with communication, and love it will survive and grow. I'd like to note that we've all learned a lesson out of this. First one, love doesn't have to take years to grow, when you find that perfect someone everything can fall into place, and you just know. Secondly, we've learned that's people's dreams can come true, and people have a right to dream those dreams and seek them out. Family is an important way to do that. Again I wanna wish Nick and Stacie all the happiness in the world, you two certainly deserve it." Kevin raised his glass and everyone else rose his or hers.

Nick gave Kev one of those manly side hugs and Stacie kissed his cheek. After a second Kevin got everyone's attention again. "Um, I just have one more thing I needed to say. When I said that love doesn't know about time, it just hits you like a rock that's especially true. That's why here today, with all of you as my witnesses, I have to ask someone something very special." Kevin walked over to where Chloe was and bent down on one knee. Chloe stopped breathing and tears immediately formed in her eyes.

"Chloe I've known you the same amount of time as Nick and Stacie, I don't think that love could ever again hit me this hard. That's why, here today," He pulled out a velvet box and opened it. "I, Kevin Richardson, am asking you Chloe James, to please do me the honor of being my wife." Kevin slipped the ring on her finger and looked into her eyes. "Well?" he asked smiling.

"Oh, of course YES! I WILL!" She said throwing her arms around his neck.

Everyone began applauding and congratulating them. They were gonna wait at least a year, but they were definitely going to go through with it. After having more party time, and eating dinner, Nick and Stacie left to go to their hotel room they were going to spend the night in and then after getting to Florida their official honeymoon would start.
