Losers | Comments: I've been a Kyuss fan for about six years, since Blues came out. I heard that John was joining an instrumental band named Karma to Burn that was up until now, primarily instrumental. Its been about two years since I last ripped off Columbia House so I figured now again was the time for some CD's. As I was looking through the selection... wonder of fuckin wonders, here was KTB's release. I just recently got it and, Jesus, the album is stunning, I haven't heard music put together like that since Sky Valley and Psalm 69 (Ministry). I'm an instant fan and looking for their EP, I havent seen it anywhere round here. Looking forward to seeing them live. |

I was Lucky enough to see them live at a local bar called "The Drop Shop" it was just by chance that I was there with a friend,... And the next thing that heard was a Bass solo that even Cliff Burton would have been astounded by. The solo was at the beginning of the song "Eight". It was the most intense instrumental that I have heard since "Call of the Ktulu". Then came a drumbeat that shook the building to it foundation , from that point on i was hooked. After the concert I had the chance to talk to the band and even get there autographs on one of their shirts. I have seen and talked to Dickie ( their bassist) on a number of occassions. Needless to say, whenever they come to Huntington, I always make a point to go and see them. I can only hope that they hit the big time soon,... for they have what it takes to make it. Guys, if by chance you read this, i would like to say one thing to you,... Thank you for the fond memories, the autographs, and the endless pleasure of the music that is in my mind the best ting to hit the airwaves in a very, very long time.
