A couple of years back, in Grade Twelve Physics, this girl named Jessica used to come back and sit at our table (we had big lab tables which gave me back pain) and chat with us so we didn't have to pay attention to our teacher.
Of course, since I spent so much time talking to her, everyone assumed I was hitting on her. Apparently I give this impression a lot. Then again, often enough I am.
At any rate, shortly after I used her as an experimental subject in a Church of the SubGenius Short Duration Marriage, she broke up with Topon.
What? She was going out with Topon?
Yeah, it was a shock to me too.
So, a while later, I bump into this girl I'd never seen before, in the halls, and start talking to her, and we chat a lot, and apparently Cavan knew her or something, and I didn't ask her directly, but I found out that she was now going out with Topon.
The relationship lasted, as far as I can remember, 21 days.
This led Jay, and possibly Brent, to believe that I was breaking up all of Topon's relationships, even though I'd never met him.
Perhaps they were right; I'll never know for sure.
