Purpose in Evangerine: The Drummer Boy

How he joined Evangerine: I received a mysterious beep from an unknown number. Usually I would ignore it, but I had just hung up the phone so I thought, "Why not?" The guy on the other end says that his name is Clint, and my friend, which he had met on AOL, gave him my beeper number. Clint said that the band he's in is looking for a drummer.
"When do you want to get together?", I asked.
   "Umm..how about now?", he replied.
   "Why so soon?", I inquired.
   "Because we have a gig in 6 days."
Well, seeing their desperate state, I decided to help them out and I haven’t been able to escape since.
