- 11/19/98 - Some more changes have been made to the tour
schedule. For all you who wanted an OHIO date, one has been added.
The tentative show at Anaheim, CA HAS been changed to a second
show at the Forum. System of A Down will be supporting on 1/6/99
ONLY. New onsale dates have been added as well. Click

- 11/9/98 - The Radio Only Ep called "Pantera : Unofficial
Hits" will contain a cover of the Black Sabbath tune: "Hole In The
Sky". It will ship to radio on Nov. 20.
- 11/9/98 - The Chicago date has changed. The show is now on
Jan. 19 & the new venue is Rosemont Horizon.
- 11/4/98 - So, It turns out that the tickets for the New
Years Eve show are NOT available thru ticketmaster. BUT they are
available thru Dillards. Their number is 800-638-4253.
- 11/2/98 - I have added all available On Sale dates to the
website. I will post the rest as soon as they are available.
- 11/2/98 - We will be releasing a RADIO ONLY ep to Radio

- 10/21/98 - Since I have been getting a million emails
asking this question - I figured I would just post it here: The
New Years Eve show will be at the Bankone Ballpark and the tickets
will go on sale on OCTOBER 31, 1998.
- 10/15/98- Although it has been posted on many websites,
Pantera WILL NOT be releasing a Special EP in conjunction with the
upcoming Sabbath /Pantera Tour. I know that Vinnie put it on the
hotline and I have to speak to him about removing it, so please
don't email me saying that VInnie said it was true. We had
discussed doing it BUT it will not be happening. Sorry. You will
just have to wait for the new record to come out for anythung new
from the boys!
- 10/12/98 - This just added! Megadeth has been added to the
New Years Eve show. This is now the current running order -
Soulfly, Slayer, Megadeth, Pantera & Black Sabbath.
- 10/5/98 - We still do not have confirmed dates for the
Black Sabbath /Pantera just yet. I promise that i will post them
the second they are confirmed. For those of you have asked -
Pantera will be playing a full 60 minute Set but please do not ask
me what songs they will be playing. You will just have to go to
the show to find out!!!!!! But I do know this much - The New Years
Eve show in Phoenix will be Soulfly, Slayer, Pantera & Black
Sabbath. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY DATE WITH THESE 4 BANDS. THE REST
OF THE TOUR WILL PANTERA & BLACK SABBATH ONLY!!!!!
- 10/5/98 - The ECW Soundtrack - Featuring Tres Diablos
(Vinnie, Dime & Rex) will be released on October 27,

- 9/23/98 - IT'S OFFICIAL!!!! Pantera will be touring with
Black Sabbath! The tour starts on New Years Eve in Phoenix, AZ.
The tour will last about 6 weeks. No Confirmed dates just yet but
I will posting them when they are confirmed. The new record WILL
NOT be released before this tour. Sorry!
- 9/18/98 - Vinnie, Dime & Rex have been keeping busy in
Dallas. They have been hard at work with David Allen Coe. They
have 7 completed songs & are working on some more. No word yet
on who will release this project or when.
- 9/18/98 - I know that I originally reported that Pantera
would begin recording on September 1 BUT they haven't begun just
yet. They are spending this time upgrading the equipment in the
studio. Looks like they will officially begin sometime in November
after Philip is finished with the House of Shock.
- 9/18/98 - Philip is busy getting ready for the House of
Shock. For those of who don't know - It is an amazing haunted
house that Philip & about 100 of his close friends have every
year during the month of October. This will be the 6th year!! The
address is 4951 River Road, Jefferson, LA. Check out the website

- 9/17/98 - The ECW soundtrack will include a track by "Tres
Diablos" AKA Vinnie, Dime & Rex. They do a cover of ZZ Top's
"Heard it on the X". Dime assumes the role of vocalist for this
track.This soundtrack also includes tracks from Anthrax, Slayer,
Biohazard, Insane Clown Posse, Bruce Dickinson, Sevendust, Monster
Magnet, & Kilgore(They do a cover of WALK!!).
- 9/17/98 - Look for the soundtrack & movie "Strangeland"
by Dee Snider to include the track "Where you come from" from
Official Live 101 Proof. The soundtrack will be released by TVT
Records & will also include tracks from Marilyn Manson,
Soulfly, Megadeth, Anthrax, and others.
- 8/17/98 - It appears that September 1 will be the start
date for the band to enter back into the studio to begin
recording. I will be putting updates on the website as I find them
out. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME and ask me if I have any further
information. When I find anything out, I will post it here.

- 6/25/98- The boys returned home from a very successful
European tour. Keep checking here for details on the new record.
It looks like they are going to start working in about 2 weeks or
so.
- 6/20/98 - Pantera play to a SOLD OUT crowd of 50,000 people
at Ozzfest UK!!
- 5/31/98 - Pantera play to a SOLD OUT crowd at Dynamo Open
Air Festival!!

- 4/30/98 - The rest of the Cowboys From Hell have been busy
as well. Dime, Rex & Vinnie have been busy recording With
David Allen Coe. All I have to say is....I AM INTO ONE NIGHT
STANDS.......If you live in Houston, you may have caught the radio
broadcast of the aformentioned song back in February. Details
about the record to follow at a later date.
- 4/30/98 - Philip has been busy again. Make sure you pick up
Vision of
Disorder's new record, Imprint. Philip sings with Tim
on By the River. The record will be in stores on July 14.
- 4/30/98 - There has also been a change in venue for the
June 13, Barcelona Date. The Venue is now Palau D'Esports.
- 4/30/98 - Please note that there has been a change in the
South American Tour - May 11th show is now in Porto Alegre @Bar
Opiniao.

OZZFEST @ Milton Keynes, UK on June 20, 1998. We are in the
process of booking the European Tour for month of June. WE WILL

- 2/20/98 - Make sure you pick up "Volume 8", by Anthrax
which will be released on July 7. Philip & Dimebag make guest

- 2/19/98 - Jerry Cantrell's solo record "Boggy Depot" will
hit the stores on April 7. Rex played bass on Dickeye, My Song,
Keep The Light On, Satisfy and Hurt a Long Time!
- 2/17/98 - Philip went to LA to do some writing &
recording with the legendary Tony Iommi. Tony will release a solo
record at some point in 1998. Details will be posted here when
they become available/
- 2/16/98 - Philip & Superjoint Ritual will be play a few
select dates this coming weekend. Feb 20 - Biloxi, MS @ Point
Cadet Plaza, Feb 21 - NOLA @ Zeppelins, Feb 22 - NOLA @Jimmys.
- 2/6/98 - Pantera are home taking some very deserved time
off! As of right now - we are expecting to go to South America in
May & To Europe in June! And then hopefully they will be in
the studio by July or August! But please remember all of this is
