May 22nd 2000:A new song "Blue Is Gold" is written and recorded.We have also upgraded the studio equipment by getting a Rœde NT-1 condenser microphone and a DBX pro-quality mic preamp/processor. Using this great new vocal recording system, we aslo re-recorded the vocals for "A Good Woman" and have begun an all-new 12-track recording of our classic track, "Time Will Tell"



April 26th 2000:Three new songs "Infinite Dreams", "Fake!" & "A Good Woman Is Hard To Find") written and recorded.....the first to be put together on our new Akai 12-track.



April 4th 2000: The finished recording of "Flying Away" has finally returned from SAE studios! We were quite pleased with the results and hopefully, we will have an mp3 of the track posted on one or both of our websites soon.



March 17th 2000: A major development for the band! We have now acquired an Akai 12-track digital recording studio/20 channel digital mixer. Our 4-track days are over!



Feb 20th 2000: EY make a new and much-improved recording of "Waiting for a Train", with a new arrangement featuring an acoustic guitar track.



Feb 10th 2000: Two new songs ("Zoo Life" and "Angel In Disguise") recorded....the first new EY material of the new millenium! Check out the EY music pages.



Jan 31st 2000: Electric Yoghurt have re-recorded "Flying Away" at SAE studios, Solna, Sweden. The new 8-track version is currently being mixed by recording engineer, Asbjörn Jensen and we will have more news once we get the final product! We also took a number of photos at the recording session, several of which we hope to upload onto the site later.



Jan 2000: mp3 files are now available on this site!!! Some of our songs can now be accessed direct from our website, in mp3 (MPEG) format....as long as your web-browser is equipped with a suitable mp3 reader plug-in. (You'll find the links on the pages that describe the individual songs).



Jan 2000: Electric Yoghurt are about to go into a professional 8-track studio. We hope to re-record "Blues@10" in the 8-track studio at S.A.E, Solna, Stockholm later this month. Watch this space!



Dec 1999: EY music on CD! Having finally got a CD-R machine, our recordings can finally be transferred to CD at last
