A lot of killer bands, like Poole, My Friend Stephanie, and Driver 8, have come from The Throes...how do you feel about that? I'm thrilled that my bandmates (& I do still consider them to still all be band mates) are doing their own thing. I recently toured with The Choir as their second guitarist. Do you think touring with The Prayer Chain changed you guys at all? No. I think the outcome of the accident & carjacking changed us, though...well, maybe Wayne Everett (Prayer Chain drummer)

Who do you feel influenced by? Derri Daugherty, The Beatles, Jesus Christ, Paul the Apostle.

You've dome a lot of label bouncing, from R.E.X. to RodeDog to Brainstorm...is there any reason for that? You forgot to mention Glasshouse...they either fold or mistreat us...

Do you feel that music is an effective way to minister to teens? Yes & no...music should not be a way to sucker a person into believing in Jesus...no program or "show" or should ever be used as a tactic to win the lost to Him. First, it promotes a semi-irresponsible way of evangelism. Jesus never sang a pop song... nor did He put on a big production to win souls to Him. He just spoke, healed & prayed... simple...

What's the most rock-starrish thing you ever heard come out of your mouth? "This amp goes to eleven!!!"
