On this day in Nirvana history...Week 6

Monday 02/08: On 02/08/94 Nirvana continued their European tour to Madrid, pain to play at Pabellon de Deportes del Real Madrid. Pretty OK show.

Tuesday 02/09: On 02/09/90 the band began their short west-coast tour at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland, OR. Some songs were used as by Sub Pop as b-sides on the Sliver and Molly's Lips singles. The clip of Molly's Lips that can be seen in MTV's Tribute to Nirvana is from this show. On 02/09/94 they played at Palau dels Sports in Barcelona, Spain. About 10 minutes of that show has surfaced. On 02/09/92 they played at the Logan Campbell Center in Auckland, New Zealand. This was their only show ever in New Zealand.

Wednesday 02/10: On 02/10/94 the band played at Palais de Sports in Toulouse, France.

Thursday 02/11: On 02/11/90 they played at the Cactus Club in San Jose, CA.

Friday 02/12: On 02/12/90 they played at the Cattle Club in Sacramento, CA. On 02/12/94 they played at the Zenith Omega in Toulon, France.

Saturday 02/13: Don't know.

Sunday 02/14: On 02/14/92 the band played at the Kokusai Koryu Center in Osaka, Japan. This was the first of four Japan shows, and they played quite well. Something in the Way from this show can be seen in Live! Tonight! Sold Out! On 02/14/90 they played at Rough Trade Records in San Fransisco, CA, and also at the Kennel Club. That show was good, with jams of "Black & White Blues" and "Master of Puppets" (Metallica), and a good version of "Sappy". On 02/14/94 they played at Zenith in Paris, France. Good setlist, with The Man Who Sold The World and Where Did You Sleep Last Night? electrically.
