First of all, your blind loyalty to this president makes me fucking sick. Now here's my opinion...excerpt from my newsletter "The View From Up Here..." What has happened to our country during the past seven months has left me with a bad taste in my mouth...which tastes conspicuously like bullshit. Is there any worse time to be an american than right now? My God, the embarrassment of reading that rep rt was unbelievable to me. I never thought it would hit so hard, but when I read the report I had the feeling of utter frustration building in the back of my lungs which erupted into a scream. It's not only the salacious details which make me fucking suck, but the petty partisan politics involved in this whole mess. What the President did was disgusting, a true marking point of how morally low we are here in the states. How can you say thi Stoney? Don't you indulge in illegal activity everyday? The answer is yes. The activity is debateable as to whether or not it should be illegal. Regardless though, I am not the president of the United States. I do not have a wife (not to mention a daughter) to cheat on. Not only that, but Bill did it on a orldwide media platform. There is no escape in the 24 hour, news starved press. So why would one be so reckless as to have sex (I.E., Fuck, Boff, Bang, Masturbate with Cigars, etc.) with an unpaid employee half his age in his house, in OUR oval office? M best guess is that the President has some 'serious-ass mental problems,' as Olly would say. Where do you turn when everybody you trust backs out on you? Is there such a thing as trust in politicians anymore? NO! What we need now is an answer to our problems. We have no need for professional politicians anymore. We need real, honest, hardwor ing people who aren't trying to get reelected just to keep a damn job. It disgusts me as I see America losing sight of all issues not pertaining to the impeachment of the President... But that's a whole other thing. Does this constitute impeachment? Right now I couldn't care less. Democrats are worried about saving face for the fall elections, Republicans are worried about making themselves look morally superior, and the people of America are left with questions about trust and honor within our political system. I mean, where is a third party when you need it? To think that this is the second time for a whole generation that impeachment is being considered...it makes you wonder. Ar we digging too deep? I think one of the oddest things that has happened in these past few weeks has been the shocking news that Senator Dan Burton (R.), who once called the president a 'scumbag' for his activities, fathered a child out of wedlock. Then we hear that Henry Hyde (R. leader of Judiciary Committee) had a five year affair once in the 60's. Man oh man. When I heard that I almost shit my pants. What if JFK hadn't been assassinated? I mean, he did bang an east German spy in the White House. Would he have been inve tigated? We will never know...would we have even known then? Probably not. Welcome to the pre-millenium. A world in which information is at the touch of a keystroke. A world in which no one in the public eye is safe from the prying eyes of the media. A world in which the truth is spun over and over again until you wonder whether it was the truth in the first place. What do we know? Who do we trust? If we trust them, how do we know they wont fuck us over? The 21st century is gonna be rough folks. This is all I have to say about this....the report is on the Internet ( As if you hadn't heard). You can find it and make you own decisions. After that, you can do what I am gonna do and DON'T VOTE FOR: THIEVES, LIARS, CHEATS, GOVERNERS FROM ARKANSAS REPUBLICANS, DEMOCRATS, MEN WHO CLAIM TO BE PERFECT, PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS, LAWYERS.................as we digress...
