Armed & Dangerous/Daredevil vs. Bohnen Family
This a tough one to call and will most likely be the opening match at the
PPV view judging by the interest it has generated on Madness cards. The
lingering question here remains, do the A-Man and D-Man have what it takes
to stand up to the feared tag team of Armed and Dangerous. My guess is no,
they do not, and a possible breakup between the Bohnen Family may be eminent.
Daredevil will probably not play much of a role unless he lands his finshing
move.
Winner: Armed and Dangerous/Daredevil
Assurance: 3
El Infierno vs "Mr. Merchandise" Steve Gentry
El Infierno has got the better of Gentry during most of the previous Madness
cards. There has been too much dominance by Infierno for him to beat Gentry.
However, Infierno has not had the title for very long and is due for a
successful defence. This one is up for grabs... take your pick.
Winner: Steve Gentry
Assurance: 5
Barrington Arms vs New Jerseys
The size and power difference alone is enough to make the New Jerseys shake
in their boots. With the loss of Eric Sklar as their leader and a lack of
direction since being thrown out of the Superstar Express, the NJ's may have
too much to deal with in the high powered team of Buford and Buck Lockwood.
If the New Jersey's win,it will be a big upset.
Winner: Barrington Arms
Assurance: 1
Amazin' Mazin vs Hey Stack vs Sexy Kenny vs Sugar Daddy (listed as doubtful)
This one is shaping up to be a great match with all four competitors in each
others' face every week. All 4 superstars stand a chance to win except for
Sugar Daddy who may not wrestle due to a recent injury. Kenny would make a
good champion but his size holds him back from being able to make defences
against larger opponents. Hey Stack has the best chance to dethrone Mazin
and may even accomplish that feat with stamina and determination. Mazin has
his belt now, and will be very reulctant to give it up. Pay attention to
this match, it may be the most surprising, something tells me that the
former lightweight is coming out the victor but my gut feeling is that Mazin
will retain.
Winner: Amazin Mazin
Assurance: 3
Hunk of Dump vs Dan Heart
This is a no brainer. Heart has held the belt for far too long and has never
really defended it against any worthy hardcore opponent. Not only is Dump
twice his size, but he devours pain with the best of them. The hardcore
gauntlet was a taste of what will take place at the PPV. The Zoo Crew will
be assured of at least one title after Sunday night.
Winner: Hunk of Dump
Assurance: 1
Oil Tanker vs Colossus
This one seems on the surface to be an easy victory for Colossus and most
would probably say that the former "hero" cannot lose this match in order to
keep his high standing in the WCFC hiarchy or contenders. I dont like the
Oil Tanker's chances but there is still a possibility of an upset here.
However, due to Colossus' losses at No Limit and Passover Panic, it is
doubtful that he will lose three times in a row. Sorry Tanker there wont be
any 3 game losing streaks come this Sunday.
Winner: Colossus
Assurance: 2
Ben Xeric vs Larry "The Ego" Millman
This match has a stipulation where the loser "leaves the WCFC for good." Well
I must say, the idea seems wonderful, but my prediction is that Xeric stands
NO CHANCE. Not after the Ego lost to him in a tag team match a little over a month ago at Passover Panic. Perhaps, Cory Chadwick who is not scheduled to wrestle will factor into this match and most likely he will; causing Xeric to lose when his inerference backfires. No upsets here, ring the bell now, its over.
Winner: Larry Millman
Assurance: 1
Vic Rattlehead vs Kookamunda
This may be Kookamunda greatest challenge to deal with to date. He not only
has to beat Lord Vic but he has to get by all 4 members of the powerful Tool
Shed. No one has ever given Kookamunda these kind of problems during Madness
cards. Not even his magic will be able to save him this time. His undefeated
streak is over. I'm calling the upset.
Winner: Vic Rattlehead
Assurance: 2
"The Franchise" Mike Coristine vs "The Essence" Shawn Mecklinger
This match will not only have implications of a victor and loser. It will be
the start to a long feud... between whom you may ask. There is no doubt that
The Franchise will fall at the hands of The Essence with the help of
....... none other than his friend - The Ego!!! Yes, it is a bold statement but all the signs are there. The Franchise deserves to win, but unfortunately, a good feud will suffer at the hands of the introduction to an even bigger one. Don't worry, Mike, I have a feeling this will be the beginning of your second title run...
Winner: The Essence
Assurance: 3
"Big Mama" Joe Sling vs. Dan Crank
A match for the title "Zoo Crew" between the two founding members of the
faction. This will most likely be one the most exciting matches of the
night. Look for Crank to hold the upper hand for most of the match, but once
the smoke has settled Big Mama will most likely walk away with the victory.
He has taken too much abuse from Crank to lose this match and god knows he
will be ready. However, something will happen at the end of the match that
not too many people are expecting. Perhaps a reconciliation between the
two former friends is possible.
Winner: "Big Mama" Joe Sling
Assurance 2
Justus Cleveland vs. "Superstar" Eric Sklar
Let's be serious, does anyone really think Sklar will successfully defend
against Cleveland? Cleveland has been on too big of a push to have it all
come crashing down this Sunday. Sklar is due for a loss and Cleveland is set
to prove he is championship material. Not only would it shock the world if
Sklar defended but he would automatically have to be given the title of best
champ of all time. Nobody has defended against so many worthy opponents and
beat them all. No doubt, Sklar will put up a good fight, but this one is in
the bag. For all of you who have been waiting for a new champion your wish
will come true this Sunday night.
Have fun watching. I know I will. Tune in to my column next week for my analysis of the PPV extraveganza!!!
