Well, back to this chocolate box of rumours. As any WCFC fan must be aware, in my absence a lot of changing has been going on in the organization. Since my departure to Toronto, the new tag team Northern Heights has been formed, Dan Crank has created the Brew Crew, and we have a new hardcore chapmpion in Vic Rattlehead and a new Internet Champion in "Pretty Boy" Cory Chadwick. What does this all mean? All of these changes In the WCFC must surely mean something, right??? Most definitely. During my trip to Toronto, I met with the owners and presidents of the WCFC, and even had the pleasure of introducing myself to the new CEO of the WCFC, who will remain nameless at this time. Let's just say he is a very good businessman and very knowledgable regarding the world of the Internet. As well, I met with the Chief Financial Officer of the WCFC, who was newly appointed a few weeks back. He will also have to remain nameless at this time, but his duties will now consist of managing the business aspect of the organization. A very nice guy and a pleasure to meet with.
Now, you must all be wondering: what is this rumour and where do all the changes and J. Pump fit in? Well, I have already told you how I fit in. I am the one breaking the news of upcoming changes in the WCFC and the rumour well. Until anything happens, it will just have to remain a rumour. As mentioned in a previous article, the WCFC has increased its profits by a wide margin over the past few months. A quick look at the financial statements of the WCFC showed a 75% increase in profit. In just one month, the WCFC made a record 3.3 million dollars at the gate alone, with another 1.1 million coming in promotional revenue. With the increasing popularity of the federation, it has been rumoured that a few major television networks have decided to bid for the rights of the WCFC and make it a nationally televised event. I asked the owners the CEO and the CFO of the WCFC what they would do with their newfound revenue and they said that they have decided to invest it in improvements to the organization - mainly in Europe. I have heard Denmark. Money will be spent on hiring more superstars and a promotional video should be hitting the shelves of stores sometime soon. I asked the CFO what he thinks of all the new changes in the upcoming weeks: "It's a very exciting time for all of us. Myself, the owners and the CEO have worked very hard to make sure that everything is being done right. We want to provide the best form of entertainment out there and I think we will prove in a few weeks that we are capable of just that." Some believe that the absence of the owners at the past few Madness cards can be explained by their desire to complete this project. And instead of focusing their attention on seeking revenge on the members of the "Elite", they have decided to put their effort into creating an improved organization. Ben and Elisha wouldn't comment on that issue when asked. This is all I have been permitted to say at this point. I will have more news next week, but until that time, it will all have to remain a rumour. Like I said, you never know what you're going to get, and that couldn't be more true when it comes to the secrecy of the WCFC.
