The lawsuit Virgin records had against the band was dropped. Originally, Virgin was upset with the Pumpkins because they hadn't recorded the 7 album that their previous contract had garaunteed. Well, the record comapny came to its senses and now the two parties have agreed on a new deal. The new contract has the band with Virgin for three more albums, starting after the release of Adore, their album due out in May.
Look for the three new releases to include a greatest hits album, a live release and also the studio release slated for February 1998. Was there any doubt that Virgin would drop the charges? No way!
