Match #7: Larry "The Ego" Milman vs "Superstar" Eric Sklar
The fans gives "Superstar" Eric Sklar a surprisingly loud ovation, and Sklar, accompanied by Violet, steps through the ropes and takes the microphone.
"Superstar is in the building! (fans cheer) You know, I left Wrestlefest a lost man. A former champion, yes, but I thought I needed a place among the best to assure myself I still had what it takes. I was wrong, because I know I'm one of the best, and I sure as hell don't need a place in the so-called Elite to believe it. I shouldn't have to earn a spot among the company of The Franchise, The Ego and The Essence - three men who obviously don't want we hanging out with them. Three men who would feel intimidated by a two-time champion like myself. But, if I do win tonight, I will still take the spot in The Elite. (crowd boos) I will take that spot, and make the lives of Coristine, Milman and Mecklinger a living hell!!! (fans cheer) Ego, get your ass out here. Your buddies may have gotten lucky tonight, but you are going to have a lesson in wrestling tonight!"
Larry "The Ego" Milman heads to the ring to loud boos, and he enters the ring, smirking at Sklar. Milman pulls down his shades, points a finger in his opponent's face, and laughs. The Ego slowly heads up the ramp, when Sklar chases after him, forcing him back to the ring with a series of rights and lefts. Milman, however, gains control by driving Sklar hard into the ringsteps. Milman rolls his opponent back into the ring, and covers. One... that's all. He drops Sklar with a hard right hand, and drapes him over the ropes. Sklar tumbles to the floor, where Violet meets him to check on her man. The Ego intervenes, and eyes Violet with a cocky, arrogant grin. He grabs her by the arm, and steps close for a kiss, when, she slaps the taste right out of his mouth. Surprised, Milman stumbles back, and turns around to meet the fist of "Superstar" Eric Sklar. Sklar follows by smashing Ego into the ring apron. The fans cheer on Superstar, who rolls Milman back into the ring. Sklar hits a reverse DDT, and covers. One... two... The Ego kicks out. He turns and clocks The Essence off the apron, and then runs over to Coristine to take him out, too. The fans are going nuts, but Sklar turns around into the waiting hands of Larry Milman, who nails The Premium on the former champ. One... two... THREE!!! The Ego wins, and Superstar is not part of The Elite. Milman, Mecklinger and Coristine celebrate, as Sklar sits up in the ring, Violet by his side, a frustrated man.
