Monday Mayhem Results

(for July 19, 1999)

- Toronto, Ontario

The fans cheer as The Zoo Crew's music fills the arena. The fans await their entrance, but there is no white jeep, and no Zoo Crew. We see a live video clip from the back, where the two unidentified business men have stopped the four Zoo Crew members short of the entrance ramp. They tell the Zoo Crew that there is no time for interview segments tonight, and that they cannot go to the ring unscheduled. The fans boo in disapproval, and the Zoo Crew exchange looks of disgust, as the next match is announced.

Match #5 (Hardcore Title Match): Vic Rattlehead (champion) w/Tool Shed vs Illness w/Rabies (challenger)
"Pretty Boy" Cory Chadwick and Daredevil are now seated beside El Infierno and Steve Gentry at ringside as the competitors for the next match are announced. Vic Rattlehead receives a massive ovation as he carries the Tool Shed with him, along with his new Hardcore Championship belt, to the ring. He hands the belt to the ref, and places Lord Stick, Lord Brick and Lord Pick at ringside. Illness is announced next, but as his music plays, nobody appears at the ramp. Again, the music is cued, but Illness is nowhere in sight. We get a video clip of Armon Williams in the back, and several WCFC competitors are telling him to go out and fight. Reluctantly, he heads out, and the fans cheer his arrival. Williams, Tiger by his side, jogs to the ring, and grabs the microphone.
"Honestly, I have no idea why I'm out here, but everyone in the back was pushing me to come out. If Illness isn't here for his match, it is certainly not my problem. I'm a technical mat wrestler, not a hardcore kind of guy. I'm sorry, but I can't fight you in this match... But, as long as I have this mic with me, I'd like to say a few things. First of all, I came here to the WCFC for employment. After doing my job as an interviewer, I also wrestled my scheduled matches. And now, I look around at what is going on, and I don't really understand. Ben and Elisha Targonsky, what are you doing? You have a successful organization. Why are you tearing - "

The microphone is suddenly cut off, and Armon frowns as someone has cut his interview short. The fans boo, and start a familiar chant in disapproval. We abruptly cut to commercial...

Once again, the video of highlights from the WCFC is shown, the most special and memorable moments making up the bulk of the clips.
We're back, and now Armon Williams, along with Tiger, has taken a spot beside the other WCFC competitors at ringside. So too, has Vic Rattlehead and the Tool Shed.

Match #6 (Tag Team Title Match): The Barrington Arms (champions) vs Northern Heights (challengers)
Northern Heights receive a loud pop from the Toronto fans, but they don't appear to be in wrestling condition as they head to the ring. Colossus and The Oil Tanker study the changing interior of the building, and the increasing erosion of the WCFC setup. They are followed by the Tag Team Champion Barrington Arms, who head to the ring - minus the pickup truck. Each Lockwood brother carries a six-pack of beer, and they head to the ring in an unusually humble fashion. The fans are confused, and disappointed in the lack-lustre theatrics. The ref calls for a bell, and Colossus locks up with Brawlin' Buford Lockwood. Colossus with a knee to the gut, followed by a scoop and a slam. He whips his opponent to the ropes, and tears into Buford with a clothesline, before tagging in The Oil Tanker. The Tanker and Colossus combine for a double suplex, and a cover is made. One... two... Buford kicks free, and makes it to his corner, tagging in Buck "The Boar" Lockwood. Buck charges at The Oil Tanker, but gets a back body drop for his trouble, and the fans cheer on Northern Heights. But Buck is back up fast, and he spears the 6'8" Oil Tanker to the mat. The Boar unloads on his opponent, and tags in his brother Buford. The Lockwoods double-team the challenger, and Colossus is held back by the ref, who is unaware of the cheating on the other end. Buford with a shoulder breaker, followed by a cover. One... two... The Oil Tanker kicks free. Lockwood shoves his opponent out of the ring, as all four men brawl on the outside. Colossus sends The Boar into the steel steps, and helps out his brother, who is battling with Brawlin' Buford. The Oil Tanker and Colossus close in on their opponent, which causes Buford to swipe a chair for defense. He gears back to nail Colossus, when the referee intervenes, warning a DQ for use of a foreign object. But Buford shockingly unfolds the chair, and places it beside him. He sits down, as do Northern Heights and Buck "The Boar" Lockwood. They have joined the other six men at ringside, and the fans don't know what to think.

The Elite's dressing room is shown, and all three members are apparently very angry. "The Franchise" Mike Coristine shoves the camera man away, and all that is heard from him is, "What the hell is going on? Is this some kind of joke? Get out of my face, jabroni!"
The camera man is kicked out of the room, the door slammed in his face. Cut to commercial...

Match #7: Ten Man Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal
The fans await the arrivals of the 10 men, and the ring has now been stripped of its turnbuckles, apron and WCFC logo. At ringside, the remainder of the WCFC competitors, aside from the ten men in the match have joined the others. Dangerous David Bohnen, Sexxy Kenny, Sugar Daddy, Armed and Dangerous, Dazzling David Sklar, The Broad Street Bully, The Punk, Ice, The Blue Mimi, Seth Sterling and Red are now seated at ringside. The crowd turns its attention to the ramp, where Dan Crank makes his way to the ring, but without his usual megaphone. He is not taunting the crowd as usual, either. He is followed by Amazin' Mazin, and then Dan Heart. Mazin and Heart both calmly enter the ring, inspecting it in obvious disappointment. The Zoo Crew is announced next, and "Big Mama" Joe Sling leads Hey Stack and Hunk of Dump to the ring, the fans on their feet. "Superstar" Eric Sklar follows, accompanied by his valet, Violet. The former champ gets a loud ovation, and he joins the others in the ring. The three members of The Elite are the last to enter the ring, as "The Franchise" Mike Coristine, Larry "The Ego" Milman and "The Essence" Shawn Mecklinger appear to be more upset than before. The bell sounds, but the ten men don't begin the fight. They simply talk amongst each other and themselves, as the fans grow restless in confusion and displeasure. Suddenly, the lights go out! Several moments later, Kookamunda appears in the ring, in the middle of all the rest of the others, hands crossed, frowning. The fans barely take in the events unfolding, before World Champion Justus Cleveland bursts through the curtains, to a loud pop, and he appears to be all business, storming to the ring. As he steps through the ropes, he snatches the microphone from the ringside announcer.
"Alright, that's it! Does somebody want to fill me and the rest of us in on what the hell is going on around here? I think we all know what we were supposed to get tonight, and that was a major announcement courtesy of the owners of the WCFC. So, Ben and Elisha, quit hiding in the back, cuz you've got a ton of explaining to do. You have 34 wrestlers, 15,000 fans in attendance, and millions at home waiting for you two to get your asses out here and do some explaining! And you still have 15 minutes before the show ends, so you can't cut this segment short, either!"
Kookamunda asks for the microphone.
"Owners... presidents... I give you two choices... Show your faces tonight, or death by Kookamunda!"

The fans cheer, and after a short delay, two men step through the curtains and under the Teletron screen. The fans boo, recognizing them as the same two business men who kicked off the show from the start. Seconds later, Ben and Elisha Targonsky finally appear, joining the other two men at the top of the ramp. Ben speaks first.
"We're sorry it had to be like this. Really, we didn't want to disappoint anyone, but everything has its beginning and end. The WCFC began last May, and well, you know - "

The Franchise interrupts.
"Know what, jobrothers? You can't expect all of us to sit back and let you tear apart the company that means so much to us all. What is going on, guys? Who are those two jabronies by your side? Are they buying the company? Are you selling out?"

"Big Mama" Joe Sling adds to Coristine's words.
"Are we all out of a job? Is that the way you're going to end it all? Stare into the eyes of Joe Sling and tell me I am out of a job!"

The fans boo, and Elisha takes his time before responding.
"I guess that means you all should know who these two gentlemen are. Well, let us introduce to you the new CEO and CFO of the WCFC. Ladies and gentlemen, Marc D'Souza and Jeremy Donath."

The fans boo, and "Superstar" Eric Sklar responds.
"So it's true, then. You sold out, and it's the end of the WCFC. Why didn't you let anyone know? What did you have to end it?"

Ben answers Sklar.
"I don't know what to say. Elisha and I would like to thank all of you for making the last 14 months possible. Thank you to Justus Cleveland, Mike Coristine, Eric Sklar, Arie Jarczyn, Lenny Kerman, Martin Esken, Josh and Shawn Wiener, Jeff Mazin, David Bohnen, Dan Targonsky, Brad Kennedy, David Frohlich, Josh Himmel, Jesse Mintz, David Sklar, Marc Pasternak, Justus Cleveland, Dan Leinwand, Steve Gentry, Larry Milman, Cory Chadwick, Adam Miller, Rob Scholl, Daniel Woolfson, Jay Anderson, Josh Murray, Shawn Mecklinger, Gil Cohen, Benji Beder, Aubrey Schiff, Rob Katz, Seth Dworkin, the sock, Adam and David Levy, and anyone else who lent us a helping hand."

Elisha loosens his tie, and continues.
"It's my duty to tell you all that this will be the last time you read Monday Madness... on Geocities.com. (The fans buzz in confusion, not quite picking up on what the presidents are saying.) That's right, because starting July 26, 1999 in seven days time, you will be going to wcfcwrestling.com for all your WCFC needs!"

The fans cheer, as WCFCWRESTLING.COM appears above the owners and their new business partners on the Teletron Screen. The Targonsky brothers walk down to the ring, and enter through the ropes. They open up a briefcase, pull out a brand-new WCFC Championship belt, and hand it over to Justus Cleveland.

Ben takes the microphone.
"We'll see you all next week. Same WCFC time, but NEW WCFC address! Goodnight!"

The fans cheer, and the wrestlers exchange looks of excitement. WCFC Champion Justus Cleveland mounts the top turnbuckle, and holds the new World Title belt high in the air, the fans cheering, and we fade to black.
