Hello, and welcome to W.C.F.C., brought to you by the amazing Wrestling Central! This page will round out the rules and regulations about W.C.F.C. and tell you exactly how things will work.
We give you, our Internet friends, a chance to do what you've always dreamed of... become a wrestler! With the help of Wrestling Central, W.C.F.C. gives you the opportunity to compete against the toughest competition on the Net. So, if you're up for the challenge, keep reading to find out more!
- The Federation is run by Wrestling Central. We are the promoters of the organization and book all the matches and so forth. There will be storylines, belts, frequent updates (more during the summer) and more!
- What we say goes. We encourage the participants not to get impatient with us, as we will do our best to give everybody a shot at some glory, but we can't give everybody an opportunity all at once. It is important to keep up to date with all the happenings in the WCFC. If we know that you care about the WCFC, then good things will happen. If there is a problem, we can be reached at targo@geocities.com.
- There will be a certain amount of creative control for the participants, but all ideas must pass through the watchful eye of Wrestling Central. We will gladly listen to your ideas concerning your involvement as a character.
- Send us a resume via e-mail, giving us some info on your prefered character. For example:
Real name: Edward Gladstone
Wrestler Name: Ed Stone
Heel/Face (Good Guy/Bad Guy): Face
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 245 lbs
Birth place: Toronto, Ontario
Wrestling style: Grappler, mat technician (others include: high flyer, hardcore, powerhouse etc)
Finisher: Gladslam (description)
Theme music: Eye of a Tiger (OK, all themes will be in midi format. We will try our best to find what you request, but there are no guarantees. We also have some stashed away and ready for use. No themes that are already used please)
Background: 2 years at Smokey Mountain Wrestling League, 3 minor titles etc.
Valet/Manager: none (please do not put an existing character ie. Bobby Heenan)
Miscelanneous: Good on mic, friends with Pierre Gladrock - possible tag team partner.
- We will not accept any names that are already being used, unless there is a certain circumstance. As well, no dumb gimmicks please, and nothing that can't be viewed by all age groups (D-X would be OK, Val Venis - No).
- Your finisher may be an existing move (i.e. crossface chickenwing, Boston crab, DDT etc). However, the stunner, pedigree or any other created or trademarked moves, or something that is just plain unoriginal, will not be accepted.
