The Latest W.C.F.C. News

July 15, 1999

- The latest rumours circulating the WCFC suggested that major investments were going to be made in order to improve the organization. However, that was yesterday. Today, there is a different story. Word has it that the latest meeting among the board of executives in the WCFC head office did not go well. Owners/presidents Ben and Elisha Targonsky were unavailable for comment afterward and visibly upset when heading to their limo.

- Another source says that this Monday's edition of Madness will be cancelled. Even the WCFC superstars are not clued in to what the future plans of the wrestling promotion may hold. Reasons of a possible cancellation were not given, but it is believed to be related to difference of opinion among board members.

- Whether or not this is the end of the WCFC or just a scrapping of the improvement plans is unknown. We here at the WCFC hompage have our fingers crossed that this will not be the conclusion of the WCFC. If that is the case, then we would like to thank everybody for their continued support.

- The WCFC would like to send a prayer out to the Chadwick family.

- A stipulation has been added to the Dangerous David Bohnen vs Sexxy Kenny match at Nowhere to Hide. The bout will now be a Submission match in which you must force your opponent to give up in order to win.

- Jumpin' Joey Cohen will accompany former tag team partner Dazzling David Sklar in his WCFC Featherweight Title match at Nowhere to Hide this Sunday. Cohen retired two weeks ago from the WCFC due to a nagging knee injury.

- The Zoo Crew are okay after suffering a brutal attack at the hands of The Brew Crew and their pickup truck last Monday. "Big Mama" Joe Sling, Hey Stack and Hunk of Dump are more fired up than ever heading into this Sunday's pay per view.

- Armed and Dangerous have been having problems backstage with WCFC bookers. Silverdog and B.B. Gunn have had limited action and T.V. time in recent weeks. More as this story develops...

- Nowhere to Hide is shaping up to be a great PPV. Coming straight to the world live from Seattle, Washington, on July 11, this giant card looks like this:
Justus Cleveland vs Kookamunda (World Title)
The Zoo Crew vs The Brew Crew (six-man tag)
"Superstar" Eric Sklar vs Larry "The Ego" Milman
Northern Heights vs "The Essence" Shawn Mecklinger and "The Franchise" Mike Coristine
Amazin' Mazin vs "Pretty Boy" Cory Chadwick (Internet Title)
Dan Heart vs Vic Rattlehead (Hardcore Title - Barbed Fire)
Sexxy Kenny vs Dangerous David Bohnen
Sugar Daddy vs Illness
El Infierno vs Dazzling David Sklar (Featherweight Title)

- Larry "The Ego" Milman is steaming after the events that went down last week on Madness. Milman had the six-man main event tag team match in his control, when "Superstar" Eric Sklar came down to lend a hand. However, Sklar's efforts to prove his worth to the Elite backfired, as the intended chair shot for Colossus ended up clocking The Ego. Superstar claims it was accidental, but perhaps he's sending his PPV opponent a little message. We'll have to wait and see.

- Illness, Armon Williams' alter-ego, has been on Madness the past two weeks, and Williams has been nowhere in sight. When can we expect Armon to return? And will Illness show up for his tag match this Monday when he and Dangerous David Bohnen battle Sex and Candy?

- Just where have the owners/presidents been since the humilitaion they suffered at Wrestlefest '99? The shows have been running smoothly, but Ben and Elisha Targonsky have yet to appear on televion since the last PPV aired. What could they be up to?

- The Barbed Fire match at the upcoming PPV will be the second in WCFC history. The first took place at Season's Beatings in 1998, and oddly enough, it was also Vic Rattlehead vs Dan Heart. This time, however, Heart has the gold that Lord Vic has been striving for since the Hardcore Title was created.

- The last match added to Nowhere to Hide was the Featherwight Title match between champion El Infierno and challenger Dazzling David Sklar. Sklar has been used to tag team action, but after the early retirement of Joey Cohen, Sklar must go solo, or find a new partner. El Infierno has granted the highly-deserving Sklar a shot at his gold for this Sunday.
