What is HANOI ROCKS?

There are still lot of things which I have to collect about this great band,
but I'm gonna try to explain as much as I know. Most topics here are
from infos which came to me from Japan mainly, as there is a
really well-done one in their mother country, Finland..(Hanoi Rocks HP by Jukka)
including Stories, tabs, more and more ultimate infos..

** and one more thing, THIS IS A FAN-BASED, unofficial WebSite, Not 4 commercial use or anything **

This Site is always Under Constructions...

Other Remarks, found in Japan

They were/are so popular in my country, Japan, so many music mags featured them so many times

They have come to Japan in 1983. Many girls ran after everywhere they went.

I don't know if it's true or not, but some mags at that time said they are often exchanged their clothes,
and so excited when some Japanese girls presented them outstanding clothes
(and a mag says Sam and Mike excited the most)

Their goods (like pencil-case with photo) even existed at that time here.
(And I have one of it, too)

Yasuaki Honda (where is he now? Well, he has appeared in a T-rex tributional album sold in Japan '97.),
a musician here used to be given some songs from Andy McCoy.

They often existed in our music-comics, called 8 Beat Gag (or 8 Beat Commedy), created by Atsuko Shima

This is what I can say it's really true: when that accident happened, many radio station immediately
broadcasted about it and did the trubutional hours in it.

"That Accident"? Well. in Dec.9, 1984, Drunken Vince Neil (ex. Motley Crue) car-crushed in LA and
there was Razzle, too. Vince didn't hurt but Razzle had to be gone to the heaven..
Too fast to die..

Then Hanoi Rocks tried to re-start everything but seemed that it's too difficult without Razzle

But, how great they are, , many HM, HR, RR, what-kind-ever... musicians name
HANOI ROCKS when they are asked of the bands they were impressed and influenced.

... And they 4 are still exist in music scene....
