sunday morning i came round and knew that i had to put some
extra distance between today and yesterday

i blinked and prickled out into the sun to find a train to take me
as fast and as cheaply and as simply as possible
there was no time for planning, this was not a picnic

within an hour i arrived at north woolwich station
way out east
where i hardly ever ever go

it felt like another city













and i realised it was the water i needed
