Halo; the band, the
project, the outlet of my more experimental ideas has been a
long time coming.From
my start with technological music in the band Ipse (signed
to Beatservice Records),
its untimely breakup to the vague steps of my own project,
SubSpace, it's been
a winding road to find the placewhere my spirit could feel free
to roam the strange
passageways this type of music takes.
It's finally coming
together, though, and below here are a few snippets of the tunes
that have found their
final form (for now, that is). These links go to the other side of the
world, and may be hard
to access, but GeoCities don't really have room for the files.
But, if you send a mail
my way, I'll see if I can't send you a tape or full-length mp3 files.
My big influences are
Orbital and Banco de Gaia, two british acts that really have
got their shit together.
Only time will tell whether Halo's output will be up there with
them, but with your
support it may happen some day. So, enjoy, and
keep the groove in progress.....
There'll be additions
here every once in a while, so bookmark this site
and come back at frequent
intervals.
